    Bone stuck!

Well it's been a while since I posted so I thought I'd report on how I've been. I'm down to a size 14:thumbup:wow! Never thought I'd see that size again. Anyway I went to Florida for vacation a couple weeks ago. Had a great time except near the end. I went to a rib place and ate some ribs I felt something get stuck. Nothing weird about that, but felt a little different. it wouldn't go away and it kind of hurt. Usually when I get something stuck I can't eat for a little while well after this time I couldn't eat for the next day. By evening I couldn't even drink and I get dry heaving. I ended up going to the hospital and they didn't know what to do. They gave me anti vomiting meds and pain meds ( I was in extreme pain by this point), they didn't have a bariatric Dr. available until morning. So they admitted me and keept me on meds. By morning a bariatric Dr. came in to see me and he took out all my fluide from my band. I burped and felt a lot better. ahhhh. What a relief. I couldn't eat for a couple of days, but by the time I got home and back to my Dr. I was feeling a lot better. My Doc put in 6cc back in I was still swollen so I couldn't fit any more in. Im suppose to wait a couple of weeks to get another fill. Well it's been a couple of weeks and they now cant get me in until Aug.. The swelling is gone and I feel no risistants. Im hungry Im so scared that I will over eat! So far Im doing well. No gain. My daughter is getting married in Sept and I need to lose 20 more lbs.. I NEED A FILL! As long as I don't gain I'll be ok. Well my hands are tired. Until I blog agian. bye Cyndy

  9. I have the flu. bla:crying:. When I gave blood my immune system wasnt' that great because I don't eat a lot and was coming down with the flu. So now it's taking a while to replace the blood lose and get over the flu at the same time. Nothing to do with my band. Thank heavens.
  10. Thanks for your advice. I think eating a better breakfast is a good idea. I think maybe im not eating enough. I am on anti depression meds. I let you know what doc says thanks again. Cyndy
  11. Thanks, yes I exercise almost everyday. You are looking good also. I see your almost to your goal. Take Care! Cyndy
  12. Hello fellow bandsters! Its been a while since Ive posted. I need a little advice. I was banded Oct. 27 and have lost 55lbs yeah me, but ive been feeling so tired and rundown. I donated blood the other day and now I feel worse almost like the flu but Ive been feeling like this for about 2 weeks. My iron is great. I was wondering if anyone else is feeling this way? I hate calling the office. So this is my last resort before calling them. Ive had about 4 fills and have 8.1cc in my band. Ive had one episode of something being stuck. ouch!!
  13. I didn't make Dec. either and I also wont be able to go this month. I will try as hard as I can to go next month. Keep up the good work!
  14. Hello Oct. Band. It has been a hard road. Im down to 200lbs cant wait to be onederland. Ive had some back issues so working out has been hard. I miss CARBS! But fitting into smaller sizes makes it all worth it. Ive had 3 fills about 7.2cc and am scheduled for another next month. Hunger is hitting me a lot. I hope this is the last fill for a while. With last one I started to start to feel full sooner. Ive lost more inches then I thought I would. It feels great. Keep on Keepin on! Everyone. I just realized Im half way to my goal. Yeah me! I hope I can make it by summer. Good luck to you all. God Bless
  15. It's so great everyone is doing so well. Im so excited that were all starting to see changes. nrpnrp It was so nice to meet you. I hope I'll see you again at meetings. Im at a stand still too, I think after that first big weight drop you expect it to be like that always but, I think our body is like hey what are you doing here! We need to just hang in there. I really need to start excercising Ive not been doing it on a reagular basis unless you concider once a week a routine lol:rolleyes2:. I just got 5 free weeks to curves and Im starting Mon. Im sure that should help start things going again. Good luck to all you losers out there.
