Kiz, I got to go see my Doctor today, and he removed 4cc from my band, had me drink 2 cups of water, it all went down for the first time since Monday, Then he put the 4cc back into my band, had me drink more water to make sure that everything was ok. Told me to stay on liquids for 24 hours. Boy am I glad thats over with.

Thanks kiz, I have called the Doctor and he is in surgery, His nurse will call me around 2:00 PM, hopefully he can work me into his office today.

Alex, I may have a problem, I know I can eat more than 1/4 cup of food or even 2 ounces, I have a lap band for 11 months, lost 35 pounds and have had 4 fills, with a total of 4.5 cc's, is there any possible chance that I have stretched my little pouch? When I had my last fill the Dr. told me I shoudn't need any more, any information you can give me I would appreciate

Hi Catherine. You are such a beautiful young lady, I say go for it. I am 65 yrs. old and have a liver problem, but my Dr. advised me to have the LBS to improve my liver, it's called a fatty liver but mine has developed into cirrosis, any way my LBS is Oct. 24, one day after you, I'm a little scared too, but I want to live a long and healthy life and if this is what it takes I'm willing to do it.

I have been married for 50 yrs. to a wonderful man, I promised to love him, care for him, and raise our children to the best of my ability, I have done this, so I think I can change my life style for the remainder of my life. I just feel so blessed.

Good luck to you on Oct. 23, just have faith and everything will turn out just great.

Hope all is going well with you, I'm still waiting to hear from my insurance, so my lab band has not been sch. let me know how you are doing and is it going to be worth it. your beautiful picture tells me you don't have a lot to lose. I'm a 65 yr. old female that needs to lose about 50 pounds, I have a not so good liver and my Dr. said the LB would help my liver, lets hope so.

Hi Pam, I'm also a Texan, i'm in the Wichita Falls area,My Dr. Warnock requires you to stay all night, and his nurse goes over everything for you, facts you need to know, how long have you had you LB, and are you doing ok

Hi Everyone, I'm new to lap band talk, but a little info about me, I weight 195, 5'3, and 65 yrs old, I also have a liver condition called NASH,It is a fatty liver , but mine has turn into cirrhosis, my Dr. has advised me to have the lap band proceduer, he said it would help my liver, Does anyone else have any liver problems? and if so how are you feeling?
