I am two days out and when I take a sip of Water I get a sharp pain coming up from my solar plexus area and into my chest. It is sharp and horrible. Is this normal? Is it just gas? Also-anyone else gurgle in their throat when they drink?

Hey all. I started my three day pre-op diet of Clear Liquids today. Is it sad I'm already over it? I'm hungry. Please, no mean comments. I want this and that's what's keeping me going

3 day pre op liquid diet? Wow you won the lottery for that lol. I had to do 2 weeks of that and it sucked lol but it got better after a few days

You can do this. It’s seriously a mind thing. I am over a year out and I have Protein Shakes as meal supplements on occasion. For Breakfast I have one daily and it actually does fill me up till lunch or I wouldn’t do it. Are you allowed popsicles. Those and Jello were what made me feel like I was getting something.
