Finally approaching the 75 pound loss mark - things are moving so much slower now!

For a decade starting in 1990-2000 I owned a small medical equipment company providing post surgical rehab equipment (CPM machines and vascular movement systems) for doctors here in Denver. I sat in on a couple of total knee replacements. I should never have done it. It's like being a sausage lover and going to the meat packer and watching how it's made. You're right, vicious cycle so it's a must do for me this fall.

You're preaching to the choir. I meant to have both knees replaced in Oct/Nov but couldn't pull the trigger. I hate anesthesia and TKRs are painful. Most of my weight comes off due to exercise and the only outlet for me now is bike riding. I love my bike, but a little exercise diversity would be nice. Even the bike is killing my knees. You're doing very well though. I'd love 5 lbs a month right now.

I never knew what my highest weight was. I went for over a year refusing to look at the scale when I was at the dr.'s offlice. Well I found out today that my highest recorded at her office was 331 in November 2012. Wow. I'm only 5'2. How ridiculous how far I'd let myself fall. So that means as of today, I am 105 pounds lighter than I was at my heaviest!

I'm down 70 lbs now, I feel great, just seem to be at a plateau. I would like to lose about 40 more lbs to be at my goal weight.

There is no magical band that will make good food choices for you...and the band does not go around the brain

I'm amazed at the lack of compassion for those who post a negative experience
