    3 Month Stall?

    Hey! I just finished 3 months too and had a really slow loss month (only 2kgs). It’s really ruined my day coz I thought I was doing really well. Unfortunately I think I wasn’t tracking my food properly and have probably been eating too much. My nutritionist advised being diligent for two weeks and hitting 60g of protein and then seeing if there’s any change. (I asked the same question earlier today and most people are telling me the same thing - to track better, so I’m going to try again) hope this is helpful! P.s. I’m working out around 4 times a week with a personal trainer too! She said to stop eating shit as well lol

    3 months post VSG and NOTHING

    I’m far from a healthy weight unfortunately, am at 102 kg. I have dropped clothing sizes thank god! I think I’m probably eating too much and need to track diligently. Such a hard pill to swallow. I’ve read a lot about not weighing yourself too often but I think I went too far in the other direction.

    I asked her for a diet that I can follow .. coz clearly eating balanced isn’t working for me! She said to try it for two weeks and check back in. The only goals I have are the 60 grams of protein and 2 liters of water. I keep starting tracking my food and then stopping because it’s so difficult to figure out the qty when you have two bites and then don’t want anymore and so on but I guess that’s the link I’m missing. It’s so counter productive but all I want to do now is skip the gym, drive home and get on the couch :(

    3 months post VSG and NOTHING

    Hey everyone, I just finished 3 months post VSG and am on my fourth month! I just met with my nutritionist and sadly I have only lost 5 pounds in around 50 days. My plan doesn’t require me to stop carbs or anything, they just want me to hit 60g or protein (I’m hitting around 30g) I thought I was doing really well! I’ve been working out and the mirror is my friend, I feel like I’ve been hit by a train after seeing my weight hasn’t moved at all. Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks, Lady caterpillar

    April 2022 Surgery Buddies

    Hi Everyone! Just got sleeved (25th April) first couple days were the WORST and now it’s seeming a little easier. The worst part for me was the gas pain. I also had the protein milkshake on day 3 and couldn’t keep anything down so had to go back to the ER for an IV. Now I’m on clear liquids (water and juice) and feeling better. The only issue I’m having currently is absolute insomnia and lower abdomen bloating. Hope everyone’s doing good 🙌🏻
