  1. Congrats!
Bookwormy got a reaction from KimA-GA in Foot shrinkage :O
I realized that many of my shoes are now too loose. When purchasing a new pair of boots I had to keep sizing down. For that particular style, my shoe size decreased by one full number! Some styles are only a half size too big. Totally unexpected. I assume that carrying all of that extra weight also causes the foot to spread out further. On another positive note, I no longer require wide calf boots.
Anyway, I was just curious to see if anyone else has experienced this. Carry on. 😊

New clothes is a lovely reward. 😀 Especially an item that I was not able to (confidently) wear before, like a shorter skirt or a fitted dress.

Certainly no experience here since I just had surgery, but I'll provide my perspective. 😁
For me, I could care less what the number is on the scale. I did this to feel healthy again and not be ashamed of my weight. I don't want to travel and see the disappointment and disgust on my seat-mates when they see the fat guy is sitting next to them. I want kids to be proud of me, not ashamed. I want my wife to get her "knight in shining armor" back that she had all those years ago. I want to feel "normal" in public, (whatever that is), instead of like a pariah. I want to be able to go to places I always wanted to go but couldn't because of my lack of physical fitness. I want to feel strong and powerful again.
I probably could go on and on, but my point is I'll know I'm "done" when I look and feel healthy again. Whether that's at 220, 170, or somewhere inbetween, it really does not matter.

IDK if any one else has already said it but I plan to do a boudoir shoot. 😜
