    3 week stall

hey everyone. i had gastric bypass on march 3rd. I noticed that ever since surgery, every 3rd week I would stop losing weight for an entire week and then it would start dropping again. I am down 40 lbs so far but the last 3 weeks I havent lost a thing. Is this normal? I am getting nervous that Im doing something wrong

    gaining

its been 7.5 weeks since my surgery and I lost a total of 30 lbs. Within the last 2 days I have gained 1 lb so now im back at 29 lbs lost. is this normal? I feel so behind. I see so many people loosing so quickly and so much and I feel stuck. Most my weight was gone within 3 weeks and ive just been stalling. I know im not overeating so I dont get it. Thoughts?
  3. i have been craving chicken nuggets for weeks. im currently almost 4 weeks from my surgery date and right now i can have a lot of different things but still no meat. I know this is technically cheating but would I be able to have a vegan chicken nugget (cooked in air fryer)? Im allowed toast (so technically bread crumbs) and I can have cooked veggies.... so basically I would be able to right? I am also allowed sauces. Its almost my "time" of the month so my cravings are STRONG
  4. I had my surgery on the 3rd (2 weeks ago) and right now the diet I was given is scrambled eggs, tuna, toast, crackers, mashed potatoes and some other stuff i will never eat. I have stuck to each weeks diet and even been meeting my 64 oz water intake a day but today its hitting me really hard. I just want a meal. Like good food meal. Its so hard watching people eat all these delicious foods and driving by everything i love and not being able to enjoy any of it. I know, I have 4 weeks until I can taste good food again but I was almost in tears today. And I am ALWAYS hungry. So hungry. Even when I drink any liquids when it goes down it kind of hurts my stomach because it feels so empty. But its not? Is this normal? Anyways, how do yall do it? Any tips?
  5. I had my surgery last thurs (mar 3) and today I started "week 2" of the diet my doctor gave me. This consists of all the liquids of week 1 plus low sugar oatmeal, yogurt, applesauce and mashed potatoes. I just have a few questions: 1. What does everyone experience when they say "i cant do (insert food here)".. how do you know when you cant tolerate a food? I ask because a few people I talked to always just say "i felt like i was dying" and that TERRIFIED me so now im so nervous to even eat a darn thing. 2. my sheet says to do 3 meals a day but I can add a snack. How long between meals and when do I do the snack? 3. Why am I so hungry and is there anything I can do to curb my appetite? I want to eat more mashed potatoes but I am only allowed 2 tsp a meal which is so small lol thanks in advance everyone!
  6. new here.. I just had my surgery on Thurs so 5 days ago for me as well.... I wonder why everyones plan is different too. I was sent home with a list for week 1, 2, 3-4, 5-6, and week 7. Right now with week one its just the liquid diet but on friday I can start week 2 which includes mashed potatoes, yogurt, plain oatmeal, unsweetened applesauce and cottage cheese. Personally I dont like anything on the list except for mashed potatoes but man can I not wait until Friday for them! I had the gastric bypass rather than the sleeve so I wonder if thats the difference? I have no idea but I am curious why it varies so much.
