Do they fill you up? Since they are 200 calories I would not want to use them as a snack but a Meal Replacement.

i typically cant eat the whole thing at once. Its really dense but good. I can probably eat the whole thing in maybe 30-45 minutes which is how you are suppose to be but i am not a slow eater at all lol

Thank you all for your responses on your experience. I have seen people ask or post about everything but this. If I was the only one, I definitely would have reached out to my Dr. It is getting better, but I still can't sleep any way except on my back and it's driving me crazy. Happy New Year to you all!😚

i could not sleep in a bed for almost 2 months. i slept on a recliner or couch sitting up. it is annoying lol

  3. After my first set of test i had to take extra Iron supplements because my levels were a little low. After taking it the next set of test 3 months later it came back normal. I typically always get my test results back before the doctor even calls me. My hospital has a portal where you can view all of your test. When i had my HIDA scan i got the results posted on my account before i could even get back home and that was last friday and i still have not gotten a call or anything from the surgeons team to let me know how it went lol. But yea let us know what test exactly came back out of range once you find out. I always get my own lab test done apart from what my surgeon does. i buy them online and go to a lab to get the blood drawn. I just went a few days ago and did another liver panel and the one result that was out of range was getting closer to being in range so thats good.

  4. What specific test came back out of normal range? because a liver panel has like 10 different test... I have one that recently came up high which is called biliruben and the surgeon had me sent out for a ultrasound and when that came back normal last Friday i had a HIDA scan which is a nuclear medicine test and that came back normal so nothing to worry about for now.

  5. Last couple weeks i have felt a lot bigger than usual. Like a lot more fat than usual on the stomach i am like wtf am i gaining more weight? But i check the scale and its the same as it was a couple weeks ago. almost 9 months out the weight loss slowed down dramatically. For the previous 30 days i have only lost maybe 3lb which sucks but it is what it is. I am taking my first flight since weight loss here in the next 2 weeks and i have always bought first class tickets because well coach seats are tiny and horrible for overweight people. Now i can fit in them and my wallet is so happy not to buy a first class ticket lol.

LOL. I will remember this. My biggest fear is the pain. I am a big ole baby and have a low tolerance to pain. hahaha.

I hate pain... i hate needles with a passion. believe it or not not much pain after surgery. Yes moving the wrong way will hurt but you are on pain meds and you will get a script for the good stuff. I got a big bottle of liquid hydrocodone. I maybe used it twice. THe pain after surgery was the air in your chest that pain medication does nothing for. Once you get thru that pain you are golden.

  7. chew? and only 2 days post op? What are you eating? Most people are on a strict liquid only diet for a few weeks after surgery to allow the stomach to heal. i did fairlife Protein Shakes for the first couple weeks after surgery. Once i was approved for soft foods the first thing i ate was a quail egg. I did quail eggs because they are much smaller and two little eggs was still too much at that time.

  8. Had my Hida Scan done this morning. 2 hours of lying on a table in a tube lol. ugh. but it wasnt that bad. Injected with the radioactive tracer waited an hour in the machine, then an IV of something to get your gall bladder to empty out and do its thing. The results got posted online before i could even arrive home lol but everything came back normal No issues at all. so thats good. No surgery needed. :)

  9. Dude everyday all day long haha. Smoke it, Vape it, concentrates, edibles ect... No issues at all. Only difference is 1 the edibles can hit a bit harder. and 2 like someone already said is the munchies... I try to keep healthy Snacks stocked up. Good thing is because our stomachs are smaller you fill up very fast. so say 1 slim jim will satisfy my cravings.

Yeah, I have heard that before too.

Right now I eat per my plan, about 1000 calories a day but sometimes as much as 1200.

i stopped keeping track after the 2nd month lol. It drove me nuts when i would cook and add things and trying to figure out calories and carbs and such. i was like F that lol

    yea, it sucks! haha

I have my 9 month follow up next week, I am just gonna check with the Dietician and see if he has any pointers to get it moving again. Currently, I am just following my plan and trying to wait it out.

My one pointer given by my nutritionist recently was to "eat more" lol. I was like WTF? and she was like if you eat less you can gain weight. she went on and on explaining it but i forgot haha. basically make sure you are on a stable diet getting around the same calories everyday
