Hi I am 69 turning 70 in December. I just had sleeve done 2 weeks ago. First 5 days were challenging but not bad. 2 weeks post op today. Have lost 17 lbs since surgery starting weight day of surgery 288. This morning 271. Best decision I ever made. Barely taking any diabetes meds. B/p meds cut in half. Good luck to you! Your not to old to live a longer life with quality of life🤗

Congratulations!! I had mine August 16. 2021. I had the sleeve. Was only in hospital 25 hours, I am 69 years young. Full liquids out of hospital, today I ate a soft boiled egg. Ate about 3/4 of it. Tolerated well. I too was so nervous, almost backed out. 7 days past surgery. Down 12 pounds. Hard time drinking Protein Drinks, going to look for some clear liquid tomorrow. Good luck to you, I am so glad I did it! Longer life, better quality of life ahead!

I had sleeve 8/16/21. I too was nervous, almost canceled, but so glad I did it. Longer life, quality of life. Have lost 11 pounds since surgery. Some gas pain. Gas x chewable mint helped a lot, plus walking. Went home 25 hours later. Looking forward to full liquids tomorrow. Good luck. Worth it.

I am 8/16. Nervous. Hard time sticking to preop diet. Strayed 3 x so far. Told my Dr yesterday. He said just go back on. Make sure Clear Liquids day before surgery. Nothing after midnight. And that I will do fine. Good luck to everyone!

I am now 69 and healthier and stronger than I have ever been in my life. I still have to consciously eat well every day. Take advantage of the honeymoon period to learn good eating habits. Best wishes on this exciting journey.
Thank you.
