Yes I took mine, and used mine. The Respiratory therapist will set it up for you because they have to give you your spirometer

Hello Chappers, I pray all is well. I think your just having last min jitters. Try not to think about what wont go right, and base your faith on everything that WILL go right in Jesus name! Just think about it soon all of those unwanted unhealthy habits will fall away, as well as the comorbidities. I am 3 weeks out, and honestly it is the best decision I could have ever made for myself. Already down 25lbs, and I feel so amazing. Although it will be work to go along with it, you got this! Just have a little faith Sister! We are all here for you![emoji93][emoji93][emoji1545][emoji1545]Hi
I'm due to have a bypass on Wednesday morning.
I'm really tearful and stressed. Is it lack of food?
I keep thinking what if it doesn't work.
I live in Spain and have paid to have it done as it's not covered in the health care here nd cost a lot of money.
I desperately want it but scared it will fail even tho my rather handsome (bonus) surgeon assures me it wont. I'm worried about recovery and not being able to eat.
Am I just driving myself and with anxiety? Am I just being a stupid nearly 50 year old woman.
Sorry
Xxx

Hello everyone, here is an update....its been a few days since surgery and I'm doing great already down 7lbs....I'm taking in 30mls of shake / Water every 15 min per doctor orders. I make sure I walk and use incentive spirometer to prevent pneumonia. Sometimes I feel hungry but I think it's a head thing! My doctor wants me to get down 64 ounces of water a day and 2 60 gram Protein Shakes a day....I'm no where near able to do that yet, I can get down 1 30 gram Protein Shake and maybe 20 ounces of water. I'll keep trying though. I had my surgery in Monroe Mi for those of you who asked. Also after surgery I had hardly no pain, I slept most of day because of the anesthesia but other than that, I was up walking marathons they were very proud of me. I'm so excited about my journey I do not regret it so far! Good luck to all, keep us posted!

Does anyone know if Medicaid pays for surgery a second time?
