I feel the same. I started working out and I’m walking religiously and this scale is STUCK! I just want out these 200s.

I'm definitely experiencing the 3 week stall. I've lost only .6 lbs in the last 3 days. I've walked and know I've been consuming less than 1000 calories a day. Alittle scary, considering the cravings (sacrifices) I have had to repeatedly push down. After losing weight so rapidly within the first 2 weeks, this is a bit upsetting. I want to desperately get out of the 300s.

it's the infamous three week stall - right on schedule! Fear not - almost all of us experience that. Just stick to your program and stay off the scale for a few days. Rest assured your weight loss WILL start up again. Stalls usually last 1-3 weeks, and you'll likely encounter a few of them on your journey.

Surgery twins! I attempted to more to purée this morning and 2 seconds into my 3rd bite running to vomit 🤢 I’m praying it’s just because I had eggs and cheese goey I’m going to try ricotta bake tonight. Have you tried that? Gosh I hope I don’t have to do 2 more weeks of fluids. Good luck!

Not really nervous, I've had two previous C-sections, but waited to long to have this done. This was my last resort and just feel like I failed to get to this point, but I have battled this for 20 years, managed to drop 40 pounds on my own, but had to start taking medication to control my blood pressure and that was the turning point for me. Just ready to get started. Good luck to you, will check up on later this week.

Also brand new to the site. My procedure is scheduled for 3/29/2021 (with my second COVID vaccination shot the week before 😅). I followed everyone with a Match surger so we could be a cohort! 🥰

I had this fear as well. After a lifetime of being heavy and not being able to permanently lose weight, I wasn't convinced the surgery would work for me. That fear was compounded by the fact that for medical reasons I was forced to have the sleeve rather than the bypass. The surgery doesn't correct the psychological factors that lead to emotional eating or binging. That takes self-reflection or therapy and finding new ways to cope.
However, it does address the physical aspects. The surgery will reduce the amount of ghrelin your body produces (one of the hormones responsible for making you hungry). For most people, this results in a reduced appetite (at least for a while). It will drastically reduce the amount you can eat before feeling full and make it physically difficult to overeat. In my case, the surgery even blunted the intensity of my cravings. I may want something I shouldn't have, but it's much easier to just tell myself no post-surgery.
In the end, the surgery worked for me just like it does for most people. I lost all my excess weight and so far, I am maintaining the loss. It will work for you too (just be willing to put in the work of figuring out WHY you overeat and addressing those feelings).
