I just had the ESG surgery on Jan 21, today is day 3 post op and doing well. What I wasn't aware of is the lack of wanting sweets so soon. My sugar free Protein Water, popsicle and Jello doesn't appeal to me now. I am loving my clear broth so much more. I am thankful that my plans to do and schedule went quicker than I thought..called Georgia Surgicare, referred to lung specialist due to asthma and cardiac specialist for hypertension, labs and from Dec 31, 2020 - date of surgery Jan 21st was smooth sailing. I had wanted help for years but husband was against it so I did everything until week before without his knowledge. My daughter drove me and stayed in hotel the 3 days before we went home. The worst part of the experience is the nausea and headaches from dehydration which stopped on Saturday. Gods best to all of you on your journey and those waiting to begin. I believe this will be one of the best decisions for me that I have made since accepting Jesus as my Lord and savior.
