Hi yeah I’m feel good. I had some issues once I started eating the day after surgery with the food and gases was giving me some jip got quite emotional, surgeon booked me in for a X-ray just to double check everything before she discharged me used and yeah all was good. I think it was a mix of no sleep added to my emotions. But now this morning I’ve been able to dip n lick my teaspoon with no issues.
So much more relaxed and feeling very positive.

I’m now gone after getting my surgery done Monday, feeling good. Was a bit full of gas 1st night but didn’t merit any pain relief. Here’s to a New Beginning x

It's funny, the actual day of surgery was much less emotional for me - by then I was on autopilot and just doing what I needed to do. So the time is nearly here, as of 07:30 Monday 22nd I will be staying my new journey l. So many mixed emotions today,I’ve tried to keep my head busy with reading a book.

I’m the same. My partner of course he knows he’s loaned me the money to pay for it. I then told my daughter and elder sister who do t approve of my decision and have been quite blunt with me. My son he’s just Mum if this is gonna make you Happy than I’m all for it.
No one at my place of work knows and I’ve already asked the hospital to put just surgery on my sick notes and they’ve said no problem.
My choice to not say anything to others is clearly I’m sick of being judged.
People in my work will make up stories about my different appearance anyway sadly it’s that kinda place.

Yes I’m scheduled to go in on Monday 22nd. Really excited but also very nervous

Needing some idea for my return to work at that stage I should be on Mashable foods. I work permanently on nights sometimes from 17:00-07:00.

Hi, Oooh fingers crossed you’ve to not wait to much longer. I’m currently on the pre op liver shrinkage diet and I’m doing ok.
just over a week to go, I’ve had my pre op and I’ve my covid swab test on the 19th Feb.
Just having to self isolate now.

So I’ve my date for my gastric sleeve surgery. 22nd February, I’ve to self isolate from Monday. Excited and very nervous 😬

I’ve ordered this today, I read reviews which were really good and some1 who’d had a gastric sleeve was using it so that help me.
With me being In The uk I can’t get the same as some have had.

Can u drink Protein Drinks and which are the best for before and after surgery I’m in the uk

Hi, I’ve filled in what I can I’m opting for the gastric sleeve. I was given the 18th jan but I couldn’t take it as my work is still very much up in the air from Xmas and I didn’t know where I’d stand with the 2 wk self isolation with regards to using A/L of sick.

Just signed up today as I feel I need some support and guidance. Not had my surgery yet I was given the 18th jan but due to work I could take it but now wishing I had. So I’m reading the Bariatric Bible which is very helpful but to hear from any of you guys would be great. I’m not knowing what type of food processing machine I’d need the 2 wks diet prior is concerning me a little.
