Okay so I have been told meat holds a lot of protein and thats cool.......... if it stayed down my surgery was 03/12/21 and everything went great Im doing great but when it comes to eating meat its a NO for me only meat that tends to do alright is turkey sandwich meat and ribeye steak cooked right! Fruits and veggies does great especially when its soft but why do I spit up after I eat? I'm getting tired of it, I gotta keep spit bottles with me or plastic cups in my purse[emoji17] its disgusting [emoji1785][emoji2961] do anyone have this issue or is this normal or what I'm doing wrong? I think depression is trying to set in ........ so I came to my parents for the kids Easter break and to get out of the house I recently lost my husband in January and I kinda been cooped up in the house except for when I go walking. My surgery was on the 12th and every went well until the second night I was in some pain and I wanted my husband [emoji20] [emoji22] they calmed me down and from there it has been good except I can't drink water like I want to anyway........ about last night well it started with dinner I'm now on puree foods but still drinking liquids the only thing that works is mash potatoes and I tried yogurt today and that made me a lil nausea but not to bad. Well after dinner in which I ate egg drop soup I got ready for bed once in bed I became very sad so sad I started crying [emoji22] I wanted to eat and I wanted my husband and I can't have either if it wasn't for my kids and their love and support I don't know how I would have gotten threw last night I really miss him. So for the last two days whwn I go to the bathroom my urine is really foul in the morning.......... so my question is do I need to drink more because its letting me know I'm dehydrated or is that the protein running threw? Same here they actually sent me home with some Zofran also but didn't need it after the first day home. I'm almost 4 weeks and just starting to tolerate water a little bit I still can't get but two sips down ice pops (sugar free) is the best way to go and it will help nausea too and use crystal light thats a big help. Im having a hard time drinking water and im weeks out give it time and use sugar free add ins like crystal light as long as you stay hydrated....... and that could be the cause for your nausea and vomiting Sent from my SM-S515DL using BariatricPal mobile app

Please be patience hunny you have to remember you been living with your body all your life and you just interrupted what it was use to doing all its life your body won't even be completely healed for a year at least don't give up keep pushing.
