LaoDaBeirut got a reaction from Stephanie92 in Does no one eat a cookie now and then??
I've had a cookie. The difference before I used to have multiple Cookies and now I just have a couple bites of one.
Also I might be the opposite of some others and I don't like using the "healthy" supplements for sweets like Protein cookies. Instead if I really decide I want a treat then I go all out and occasionally have a cookie from the best place in town. If I'm going to eat something bad for me then I will make it worth it.

Are you putting forth the best version of you? Like are dressing well? I suggest taking new pictures and really try to look your best.
Also women on dating sites have tons of opportunities so don't feel bad if they disappear. Usually the attention is overwhelming.

I suggest getting a couple belts and then when you're choosing new things, get things that either have a belt or an elastic waist that can be cinched in. Otherwise a dress with smocking on the top can stretch a lot.

A brand new snowboard and all the gear, and two snowboarding trips to Europe because for the first time in 15 years I'm small enough to do it.

LaoDaBeirut got a reaction from fourmonthspreop in Potatoes 5 weeks out
I ate mashed potatoes at that stage and added Protein powder and nutritional yeast. My dietitian also went on a rant about how the potato has been unfairly demonized and that potatoes are fine in moderation so I'm going with that.

I've had them and they taste good but they're pretty much empty calories and dangerous because they're not filling at all.

You can't stretch your stomach with Water. chips are a slider food so eating a whole bag is something you CAN do but not something you SHOULD do. bread might be a slider food for you because that could explain the whole sandwich.
I think the better question is why are you eating chips and a sandwich?

If you have a chocolate chip cookie craving, Quest makes a Protein cookie that isn't bad although they're really expensive.

The advice you are getting seems bizarre because I don't know why a psychiatrist has any business telling you what exercise is appropriate for you. That's the job of a PT and/or a doctor. If your team is insisting that you MUST exercise in this manner then something is wrong. In addition, exercise is only a small part of this and the majority of the work is diet related.
You shouldn't be doing ANY exercise that is causing you pain. Stop doing what you're doing immediately and here are your options:
    1. Consult a physiotherapist who can help you learn how to exercise without hurting yourself. Even if you have to pay money for this it's worth it.
    2. Get in the pool. Swimming or Water aerobics are a great workout and excellent for people with injuries. When I was 17 I dislocated each of my hips in separate snowboarding crashes. I did pool workouts to recover and it's still a great workout without straining your body. I still do them now.
    3. Stay out of the gym and go for a walk. Really there is no reason we have to work out in gyms, especially if it causes you stress. I find a treadmill torture but going for a walk outside is the highlight of my day. If you don't like it, you don't have to do it.

LaoDaBeirut got a reaction from ardelia in orzo
I've had it a couple times and had no issue with it, although I get full too quickly from it.
Greek food has been a staple for me this past year and actually I spent last June travelling in Greece so other than orzo you should be fine. I make a lot of shrimp saganaki, halloumi, and homemade tzatziki. With real feta and real greek yogurt not whatever that stuff sold in America is.

What do you mean by have a problem with it? I cannot say I'm offended by orzo.
