  1. i had two half sleeves before the lap band, 150 lbs later and i feel like they look a lil better. so does the artist. the color is a bit brighter too. i started my leg piece when i had lost 50 lbs. and it looks fine. i covered my scars with my sum ink across the stomach. and im workin on coverin stretch marks with sum full upper arm sleeves, ill be in the chair again today haha.

  2. i can kinda understand what ur talkin bout flyguys. im down bout 150 lbs in 11 months. and i was never expecting it to go that fast. and im still kinda waitin to see how my skin does. but even if i do have to get sum p.s. ill know its a hell of alot better than bein fat haha. my weight is startin to flatten out, but like u said with the toning, i still got lots of work ahead of me. so for me, ive gone this far, i want all the fat gone. and when i get to that point the real work begins, to stay lean and healthy. not to mention, the whole healthy lifestyle i enjoy too. good luck with the p.s., the end result will be worth whatever u gotta go thru. congrats on ur weight loss too, and keep ya head up youve done bad ass.

  3. what up scoopvi. congrats on steppin in the rite direction. the band was def the rite choice for me. i got the band done june 20, '08. i started at 335 lbs and now im sittin at 210. i wouldnt really agree with the guys loose faster than women, i just think its alot bout the attiitude u have after surgery. ive met a few chicks that have lost as much or more than me. but i met this one girl (and like may other guys and girls that arent happy with their loss) was complainin bout not loosin the weight that she had hoped for, and all the while she poppin a pre-packaged frozen hamburer in the microwave. haha, that aint gonna cut it. i really dont see any signs of needin any plastic surgery, just a few stretch marks. self confidence is at an altime high and def helps with the sex life, not to mention sex drive is thru the roof. i revert back to alot of my high school football workouts and havent lifted anything heavy yet, but just doin alot of reps, and i do some sort of abs between every set(alot of abs). i live bout 1.2 miles from the gym, so i get my girl to drop me off and jog home for my cardio. i get bout 3-4 days a week in the gym and sat and sun mornin i just jog to the gym and back no workout just cardio. the biggest thing that ive done was changin how i ate. eatin healthy, u learn is so much more enjoyable than the junk food. especially when u see the lbs melt off, and u get to experience how that kind of food truely makes u feel better. it was hard for the first few weeks, but i figured i put, and paid, for a foreign body round my stomach. im goin to do what is needed to make it work. it changed my view not just on eatin rite, but livin a completely healthy lifestyle. ive had no problems besides the every now and then, and pretty uncomfortable, gettin stuck thing. but i dont regret a thing, and im happy with my decision. good luck and hope it all works out

  4. ive never really measured, but i do always eat on a small plate when available. here are a few typical meals for me, and i do tweek them a bit sometimes to break the monotony. i have chosen to not really eat beef or pork either.

-small piece of fish and small side salad (i use vinagerette type dressing, with some graded parm. cheese)

-a larger salad topped with grilled shrimp, or grilled chicken, or tuna.< /p>

-whole wheat Pasta or spinach Pasta with ground turkey meatballs, and a small salad.

    as for lunches...

-i usually have tuna with lite m.whip, kashi whole grain crackers and whatever ur fav cheese.

-sometimes instead of the tuna ill use chicken breast slices or Hormel turkey pepparoni, plus i usually take a kashi granola bar, and a yogurt too.

  5. i did. i got a koi fish on the outside of my lower leg when i lost 50 lbs. i still have one more sittin before its done. when i reach my goal weight, ill have another koi done on the inside of the leg to make the full sleeve. the koi fish has meanings: bein a non-conformer, kinda swimmin ur own path. and it also symbolizes goin thru adversity and overcomin. i also have plans for full back piece to be done after i loose the weight.
