Everything is fine thanks everybody, I spoke to my dietician and told her my food diary & she assured me it was down to my diet as I felt well and pain free, and, sure enough the next day my bowel movements were back to normal 😁

@ajtylo... can you clarify what you mean by “play” I truly hope it’s not what I’m thinking. My post is a safe space for all people but especially the LGBT community. So if you are here looking for something.. this is not it.

I've had lighter-colored stools since my bypass on 6/29. When I had pancreatitis from gall stones, stools were clay-colored and I felt very sick. If you don't feel pain in the upper right under and just below your ribs, it's probably not your gall bladder. Your doctor can check your lipase and amylase levels too.

Mine was like that right before my gallbladder failed. Should bring it up with your surgeon or doctor, just to be safe. ❤️

Mine was almost yellow for quite a while after my surgery, and there were no issues as far as I'm aware. It did get back to normal eventually.

I had weird colored poop for the first three or four weeks post-surgery, but after that - no. I'd just check with your doctor or surgeon. If nothing else, for peace of mind.

I had that right after my bypass too. Actually, I had some bowel movements that were completely white! Very strange looking. My surgeon said it was because things were moving through my bowel so quickly no bile was mixing in to give it color and that it wouldn't last long. He was right.

Oh honey! I felt like crawling through the phone and hugging you. I TOTALLY could see me doing that. Fast food is so darn yummy and FAST and the REGRET just like you said, too. I have lost 45 pounds pre op but I really struggled with eating fast food a couple times a week. I don't know about you, but i swear my subconscious always does that to me. It tells me you've done great, you DESERVE it. Like it's a reward. Its so annoying. I just have to tell myself ok. So what. You aren't perfect, you're only human. Now that you found out it wasn't worth it just try to do better one day at a time. It's ok. Hugs

weight loss from revisions is usually not nearly as fast as it is with virgin surgeries. Also, if your BMI is comparatively low, that would mean a slower weight loss rate, too.
also, if you haven't lost in a week, you may be in a stall. Most people have their first stall during the first 4-6 weeks after surgery.
all that said, as long as your weight is gradually going down (even if you stall now and then, which you will...), you're good.

For your start weight I think 9lb is great, you had a lowish start weight and your losses are not going be as high as people who weigh a lot more.

  11. Thanks
