Had my vertical gastric sleeve August 10th in California... on week 2 of post op liquid diet... will not lie it has been hard I still have cravings and since yesterday started with nausea dizziness . Today I started Vitamins and threw up a few minutes after taking the Iron ... not a happy camper rightnow

Surgery is tomorrow, 8/24 at 7:30am. Today is going to be a bit more tough since I can only have liquids but I’m excited and anxious for tomorrow and for this life change :)

I had my surgery 7/14 and I was doing the same thing lol I would eat the tuna or egg salad like the devil egg filing it was great it got me through -

Blender first then a spoon too just to make sure it was super puréed. I also just tasted a bit and waited 20 minutes to see if I felt anything weird before I ate a regular portion. -

I had surgery on 8/11... not going to lie I had puréed tuna with low-fat mayo and lemon juice blended all together... it was amazing. I know it's a little early. But I did great with it surprisingly. Only ate about an oz though.

Hey all!
So I’m POD #7 & I’m starting to get hungry. Not the pains or anything, but I just feel the need to “crunch & munch” on something! I’ve tried ice cubes, but eh.
Any suggestions?

My surgery is Aug. 4, 2020 with Dr. Louisiana Valenzuela at Mexico Bariatric Center. Keeping my energy on high vibrations. There is so much information to take in. My passport has not arrived yet, but my patient coordinator has assured me that my birth certificate and ID are fine (due to the delay during these times). I’m just a bit bummed my support companion cannot come to the hospital with me. I’m flying from Ohio to San Diego. It’s nice to “meet” everyone! 🙂
