    Anyone not into milk products?

Last time I tried any broth’s vegetable or chicken broth, by itself it was terrible. I guess I could try adding protein powder to it. Thank you for the suggestion
  2. I have not drunk milk in years. Besides just not being into drinking what animals use to increase their babies’ fat, it makes my throat gummy. I just can’t stand to drink milk. So I’m on my pre-op diet and a lot of it is drinking these Protein Shakes. All milk. My throat is back to being all Gummy. I can’t stand it. I can’t clear my throat. Should I just focus on Protein waters? Anyone else with the same issue? Anyone with some suggestions?

    Is anyone else as disappointed...

I have a friend that is really into holistic medicine. She says that even if your blood results showed normal on thyroid that it doesn’t necessarily mean it really is. I’m scheduled for surgery on August 13, and she has been wanting me to discuss my blood test results with the holistic woman that knows about this stuff. I’m going through the surgery anyhow so we shall see. Maybe some of the others who are not experiencing weight loss have a Thyroid issue? I’m certainly no expert, just putting out thoughts and possibilities

How long out of you or for Sleevers?

Thanks for all your input. I have enough time to take off more than the 10 days, but it’s just hard because I enjoy the judge that I work with and if someone else fills in, it’s going to be a disaster, which will reflect on her. But maybe I should take extra time if only to show my supervisor the workload is too much lol. Since being back at work full-time, they didn’t give us any time to deal with the four months worth of backlog, and took away our supporting help so we are just swamped and buried all the time and it’s very stressful
  5. I am wondering what the average amount of time that people took off from work for recuperation following sleeve surgery. I am having the surgery on a Thursday, and was hoping to go back to work on the Monday 10 days following. Is that unrealistic?? I work at a job where I’m sitting all day, but it’s very busy and stressful.  The title was supposed to say “how long out of work.” I am new to this site and I can’t figure out how to edit the subject line.

    Anyone for August 2020

I am having sleeve surgery on 8/13 ! Like many, nervous and excited. This Thursday I start the pre-op diet, but I'm actually starting it now to get used to eating less, eating smaller protein meals. I just watched a video that shows a sleeve surgery. Very interesting and gave me some questions to ask my surgeon. Good luck to all you/us August 2020 sleevers!
