You will have to sign consents to possible open procedure as most of these procedures are done laparoscopic but surgeons must be prepared to go in openly of complications occur. Therefore u assume the risks when u sign consents.. the case of this happening is rare... but obviously they cannot stop mid laparoscopic procedure and ask u to sign consents for an open procedure lol... be calm and have faith no complications will occur.

I am so sorry to hear that! Mine was postponed several times and it was very difficult to keep the faith and my Momentum forward. You my friend are a nurse and Nurses gave us all hope during this pandemic . Use us to pull you thru!! Prayers being sent your way!

I found out Friday that my date is July 15. It feels like things just got real as I had to do 6 months with a nutritionist and I’ve kind of been putting it out of my mind. Now it’s real and a little scary and a lot exciting!

I'm in Florida too. Jacksonville. I have Florida state insurance aetna. They didn't require much from me. I hope you get a surgery date soon!
