About hair, up your Protein grams with a collagen powder in your drink. Really helped me. I did have a slight stall somewhere in the middle of the year but then it started coming off again.

Look it sounds really awful so i hope you get to feeling better but everybody has to do their own due diligence prior to surgery choice and gerd is more common in sleeve than rny in all the data. You got the sleeve having known the risk for that particular one. I really hope you feel better!

my advice would be not to stock up too much your pouch may reject it after surgery then your stuck with stuff you cant eat/drink. I would also get some of the extras like chewable gas x but usually you can ask for a script to go home with of it for when you feel the burp if you ask for it. Buy extra pillows if you dont have but two. Buy a couple for each side and a couple to make you lay higher so that you wont have to sleep sitting up on the couch. Some of us had to lol. Don't worry about packing for hospital they have everything you need there even mouthwash. hair brush yes bring that if u dont want to use comb. Phone and charger necessity incase you get stuck in there for days. get a nice food pureer. i got magic bullet you need something to puree the foods in the next or third in some cases diet stage. disposable 2 oz and one oz containers make meal prep and clean up easier (a m a z o n). im sure everybody has a lot to add, and congrats. if we could keep it off on our own we wouldnt be this fat. if we dont have the surgery wed prob have the diabetes and other deathy ailments within five years. remember why you started. strange how the weight is just flying off... yet when we try to do it it was stuck and slow. it is painful though and hard i have yellow pee from not enough Water as i type this and im tryin to get in the 64oz needed to turn things around. but lost two more lb today 😯

Please let your nurse know so they can give you something for it dont suffer in silence. At home a heating pad and lots of pillows helped me. You can also prob get a script of tramadol from your doctor for the first few days if you asked.

Yes you'll be able to feel "full" quite quickly once on solids. But even then, don't wait for the full signal, keep your food quantity within 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup as prescribed by your nutritionist.

I would warn you this my brother got all the way down and due to work stress building a house and three kids went off the wagon. He quickly put on 25 pounds and he has been working his ass off to get it off. Guess it comes off quicker and easier the first time. He was right at 2 years

Some of us get what we call "the foamies." It's not vomiting, but it's mucus coming back up and sometimes you spit up because you ate too much or ate something dense that your stomach didn't like.

Thank you all for the feed back. I haven’t talked to anyone who has lost excessive weight. It’s very hard to do the Vitamins and the liquid supplements. Only because it takes me a few hours after ingestion, that I feel ok. It’s while preparing, ingesting, then after, that just makes me so ill. After I get through all the ordeal, time to start over. It shouldn’t be this hard. But it is. Tired of being sick to my stomach after I supplement. And after I eat.

Sorry, going to be a 'nudge' here:
90 miles a week and 5 marathons beg to differ. From when I started to when I finished the 5th marathon, I dropped 150 pounds, which was about 40 too many. I'm pretty sure it was mostly fat.
Less effective exercise is better than no exercise.
I hated exercise, so never did any

No my plan does not require that lol. I think that would be difficult. Mine is just 60-80g protein whether by shake or food but the protein isnt as important to my doctor as the Water is in my specific case. I dont even want to suggest Protein Shakes because they are nasty so instead i will recommend to you milk called fairlife. It has protein in it goes down ok for me so long as im slowish. Check that milk out. Now i also eat little mini sausages w cheese inside dipped in sugar free bbq, Sometimes a square of cheese on the side, Some chili from wendys Things like that

For me it really just has varied every week. I know on the days that weight doesnt move that my food hasn't changed so I dont panic about the scale and viola still keep going down. I aim for a monthly goal and try to hit that because the scale can really flux with Water, bathroom habits etc on day to day basis

I like to drain a can of tortilla Soup with a strainer and dab some sour cream on top. In softs i order the Protein power bowl and customize it with whatever Proteins my pouch is tolerating that hour. How great it is that there is protein in cheese. I didnt start eating these things until 6weeks post op because my programs dietician suggested laying off spices a bit til its healed some.
