I looked for unflavoured powder but couldn't find it, so i bought strawberries and cream to use as a shake

I've been on protein shakes as i don't like eggs or cottage cheese. I like skyr greek yoghurt and beans?

It kinda scared me coz it was the first time for me. Liquids have been fine so far, but I'm going back to liquids and puree for a few days to see if it helps

I had a mini bypass March 16th and have only just been able to lie down on my right side. I prop myself up on a pillow to make it comfortable. The pain relief helps but the bruising i had was pretty bad so that made sleep awkward.

I used to eat until the point of pain, but i was deep in food addiction. Maybe i did eat too much too fast?

Sorry for the tmi. I'm 11 days post op from a one anastomosis gastric bypass and have just managed to go to the bathroom for the first time since the morning of surgery. Is it normal for there to be a significant amount of dark blood the first time you go? I read up that it could be old blood in the intestinal tract from the surgery but it could be a staple leak or bleed internally too? I don't have pain or any symptoms, such as fever or difficulty eating/drinking so I'd like to know if it's common before I call my surgeon's emergency line tonight? Thsnk you ❤

It seems to have stopped now but only going to the bathroom every few days. Guess I need to keep on the sennokot constipation relief, kinda hurts to go

I'm 3wks out of a mini bypass on Monday and have only lost 14lbs. It's going a lot slower than I thought it would 😣
