Congrats on your weight loss. It feels so good to be banded. . I love my band and I can hardly wait to reach my goal. It seems like a dream come true. Keep up the great job with your new tool.

Hello . . so how are you doing with the band. So far I've lost a total of 119lbs . . . hurray!!! I feel so good. As soon as I learn how to work this site better I'll post some pictures and update my ticker. Hope to hear from you soon. Good luck!

Hi Sparkles . I'm really happy for you. To be honest at first I felt alittle but now I'm ready for a fill. I really feel my weight loss now is due to having only 1200 cal. per day. My friend that has had 2 fills says he feels the restriction now. I think the worst was the pain in the left shoulder but it only lasted about 4 days. Now, I don't even feel my band or my port and I can now sleep on my stomach.

I had surgery on May 27th. I was in surgery for about 1 hour. Dr. Higa kept me over night which was nice because I got to use the self administered pain medicine dispenser. I didn't have to do a prep the day prior which was wonderful. However, I had to go on clear liquids 24 hrs. prior to surgery. . . I didn't have to have a catheter inserted either. Dr. Higa is wonderful! So far I've dropped 13lbs the first week and 7lbs. the second. Good luck on your surgery!
