I did order Unjury, per the recommendation from my surgeon's office. It has an aftertaste I am not digging. The reviews are all, "tiny" flavor. My butt! I ordered $60 of product. I will use it, but boo! I just got some Isopure today. It is delicious. Pineapple orange banana. I don't detect any lingering notes of nasty. I'm going to try their unflavored next, and see. Don't do what I did, and go for the whole enchilada. Buy small amounts, and sample first, before any real investment.

This site is great! Just one of my incisions has a super dark bruise. I come on this site, search the topic, Presto! Mystery solved. Worries alleviated!

It is not just you. I haven't like any of the broths yet. I just ordered a vegetable broth. I plan to add the unflavored protein powder to it. Hopefully, that will work. I looked up a recipe for the Thai chicken broth, and I'm going to try to duplicate it. Cuz that was bananas good!

Just had my first protein drink. Unjury unflavored powder with a BodyArmor superdrink. Only 8 oz. It took me 40ish minutes, but I did it! I'll wait another 10 and start on water. Want to stay hydrated. All fluids count towards my total 64 oz, right? Even the protein drink?

My insurance wouldn't cover it either. I went to Mexicali. If you travel through San Diego Airport there is a Thai restaurant in there. It's called Saffron. They have a chicken broth for a good price, and tastes delightful!

I'm 2 days post op. Just removed my drain today, and I got broth. That seemed to be a big deal. So, YAY! I did my barium swallow, and saw my tiny stomach. The surgeon said it was "pretty". I have a taken a shower, and I feel a solid ok. Yesterday was a little rough. I could not hold down fluids very well, and my IV infiltrated. I didn't walk enough. I did not have enough fluids, but today I seem on the up and up. I leave tomorrow morning to go back home. I am going to take it nice and easy. Lets get ready to SLENDERIZE!!!!

Had my surgery yesterday! Everyone has been wonderful! Two more days in the hospital, and then I'm going home. Feel a little nauseous and tender in places. On the whole I feel ok.๐

My surgeon didn't require complete liquid diet pre op. I lucked out. I have one meal a day, and the rest liquid. All liquid all the time starts this week. Yowzahh! I am so happy to have found this site. Thank you for all the support. It's what I have been hoping to find. I see these amazing weight loss numbers, and I can't wait to join in! I am super pumped!๐ช๐ฅ๐

Did anyone go crazy before pre op diet started?
*aqua* replied to kg2519's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I started keto at the beginning of January. It has not been too brutal. I have surgery on Wednesday. I have the same mindset as TatooedSeaStar about getting used to no more carbs, and being at peace with it. I have had 3 cheats all month. I am a little worried about the liquid diet post op. I got my eye on the prize, though.
