  1. I had surgery on 11/29 and I’m trying to not focus too much on the numbers on the scale or on my clothes.
My non scale victories since 11/29
Had to have a spacer put on my wedding ring
    I’m wearing a coat I haven’t worn in 2 yrs
I got rid of my pre-surgery work uniforms
I’ve cleaned my closet twice already
What are your non scale victories?!

No more diabetic medicine or blood pressure
Glasses are falling off face(which is quite annoying)
    Can walk longer distances

  2. I had my surgery 12/10/19 and I have lots of temptations and I've slipped up bc food kinda was an addiction for me and I "quit cold turkey" and the diet planning is hard when you live on a budget. Anyone have any ideas on which brands or food are good bc I've run out of Protein Shakes so I may not be getting enough not sure

but overall it's still successful I've lost 34 lbs since then and don't need to take blood pressure pills or diabetic medicine so that's pretty cool to me

  3. I doubt you will gain fat from that (as long as you get back on track immediately), but you may gain a little temporary Fluid weight if it is high in carbs.
I am assuming this is not on your post op food guidelines (otherwise you wouldn't be so worried)? Please make sure you do get back on track immediately, its a slippery slope if you continue to eat off plan at this early stage.

Yea it's not my plan until at least after 3 months and I didn't wanna gain weight before my 2nd post op appointment but thanks for answering my question
