    4 Weeks and only 10lbs!

Hi there, I am part of the slow losers club. I had my sleeve done March 3rd and I am just hit a 30 pounds loss. So don't be too hard on yourself. Everyone goes at their own pace. I am 56 and was at 250 when I had surgery. I know it's working because I am dropping inches, not so much weight. I've got time I am good about it. At first I was really upset. But trust the process...it will all work out in the end. Enjoy life enjoy those NSV and don't be so hard on yourself...

    Is anyone else as disappointed...

I know for me that a loss is a good thing no matter how small....it took awhile for me to get this big so I can wait for me to get thin. I do feel 100% better. I can do things I could not before and that makes me very happy. One day at a time....I know we all got this!!!!

I am right with you on this one, I had mine on 3/3/20 I have only lost 30 lbs. I know I am older (56) and maybe things are slowing down, but shoot a little faster would be fine by me. But again a loss is a loss is a loss and I will take it

Preop liquid diet. Cheated [emoji21] no judgment plz!

Don't beat yourself up...I felt the same way. The reason why you do that before surgery is to shrink your liver. They kind of have to move it out of the way before they do the surgery. I had to do the diet for 2 weeks and that was painful lol But I worried about the same thing and was fine. You will be perfect. Best of luck to you...so worth it

    Protein from Food.

I hear ya on the shakes. I like Built Bars they have tons of protein and they are nothing like your typical protein bars. Almost like eating a candy bar. Low sugar. Really good. I was also doing eggs everything. Good luck.

    Stomach feels sickly

My coworker had the sleeve 3 years ago and she says her stomach makes all sorts of sounds. Mine started shortly after my sleeve on March 3. One of the last ones to get the surgery before everything stopped.

My 600-lb Life: Fact Orr Fiction? 🧐🤔

I have not watched the show. I just had my 2 month follow up with my surgeon. I have list 25lbs. And I asked him. Shouldn't it be more? He told me that based on my age and how much weight/height that I was right on course. He said the he would expect about 55 lbs by 6 months. So that made me feel better. This is how my journey will be. I had the sleeve March 3 2020. Sw 250 ( Gained 20 lbs from quitting smoking) That sucked but still no smokes. CW 225

    April 2020

Hey thank you. I have been lucky cause I've heard and had read about people who cannot tolerate certain foods. I was going to bummed if I was one of them. So far so good stick with a flavor that you like and go for it. When I was leaving the hospital they told me to make sure I drink my water etc. So I have been home since Thurs so far so good. 🙂
  15. I have pain like that but on my rt side it's the spot the stomach was removed from so it's a bit tender hurts more when I try to sit up when laying down. Each day things will improve. 🙂

    What's your approval process?

Gosh mine is a lot longer lol. A total of 7 appointments. The first one was the information part then I had to go see them once a month for 6 months. Had a Neropysc appointment. 1 support group. Sleep apnea testing, which I do have. Quit smoking everything. And I finally quit cigarettes I have to wait 3 months more and test clean again before surgery. Could not get a date until I did all of that. So about a total of 11 months for me. But I am very close to my date April 7th four days after my birthday. My present to my self.
