Also look into overeaters anonymous meetings. They have them in person and online. It will help I’m tremendously in conjunction with a therapist and talking to your surgeon. Best of luck!

Just something to ask when you meet with them. Don't be afraid to let them know you have low threshold for pain. They will ask you on scale of 1 to 10 what your comfort level is that you can tolerate before you need pain med. For me that is a 4, but if for you that if it is lower then tell them that. If offered pain med take it! Don't wait until you need it as that will be too late because you will have to wait for it to kick in. Don't chase pain, stay ahead of it! At least until you have healed for a bit and are feeling comfortable.

did anyone purchase some type of travel insurance that also included medical coverage in case of complications? Or 2 separate policies?
