  1. Hey! My weight loss was pretty slow compared to others but then again I work out a lot and I need a high carb intake then average people. I'm 155lbs right now and I just had a tummy tuck to remove 3lbs of skin. I'm still trying to loose weight. My goal weight is 125lbs. If you get your fills, follow a good diet, and exercise you should be at your goal within a year or less. Dont forget about the Fills. There very important to get.

  2. Hey i'm getting my tummy tuck tomorrow, any advice on anything?

  3. Hey thanks! Yeah i'm only 5'1... pretty short lol.

  4. Thank you! I actually live in Central Florida, I guess Florida in general has a lot of Brazilians because the weather is like Brazils.

  5. Thank you. Nope i'm not Brazilian, but i'm constantly around Brazilians. I think I become a little bit Brazilian everyday haha.

  6. Nope i've never done any martial arts before. I only like jiu jitsu and muay thai kick boxing, none of the karate or taekwondo stuff.

Dr. Ortiz has done a lot of surgerys, I've heard hes done hunderds. On the day on my surgery he also did four other peoples surgery. But I don't know how many exactly.

  7. Oh yeah what took me so long to get the fills was that my surgeon Dr. Ortiz wanted me to wait three months for everything to be healed before I started getting fills.

and i've been training jiu jitsu for about 8 months now.

  8. My scars have healed pretty well. I have a picture up of them. My biggest one that is an inch long kinda shows through some of my shirts that are thin and tight. But my dermatologist said she could bleach scars to match up with my natural skin tone so they don't show as much.

  9. Hey the guy in the photo with me is just competes in jiu jitsu tournaments, he doesn't fight pro mma or anything. But a lot of fighters tend to look a lot alike.

  10. Yes I love being home schooled because it gives me a lot of extra time to do other things which could be bad though if your someone who eats when your bored lol. I got my band April 30th then I got my first fill in August and then thats when I started loosing weight. I've lost 44lbs so far, it doesn't seem like a lot to me but I guess everyone looses at their own rate.

  11. Hey right now my skin has been holding up pretty well. I do a lot of exercising and people say that helps skin go back. I still have about 30 more pounds to loose and I think maybe my inner thigh skin will probably be loose because I have a lottttt of stretch marks around that area. Also possibly my a stomach, I can't really tell right now because a lot of the weight I need to loose is in my stomach area. I'll let you know more once I loose more weight. I hope I don't have a lot of loose skin around my stomach i'm scared of tummy tucks just because the heal process looks painful, but I guess its better then sagging skin.

  12. I'm still in high school... kind of, i'm home schooled and have been since 10th grade. I'm only 16 but i'm on my senior year, trying to graduate early. Plus I it was hard dealing with every ones crap in school when I was heavier.

  13. Heyyy! For the most part I have kept it a secret. Only some of my family knows and two of my friends know. The reason i've kept it from a lot of people is because I know how their going to react. They usually say "oh your taking the easy way out" when it's not easy as you would think. Or they judge you for your parents paying for it if they did. Also I think some of my friends would be kind of jealous if they found out because they can't afford the surgery.

  14. Hey! I waited three months before going back to training and I only did the beginners class my first month back just to get my band use to jiu jitsu. The port area kinda felt weird at first training because you use your abdominal muscles so much but your port will stay in place even better once your muscles build all around it. But now I always forget about my band UNLESS someone puts their knee on my belly, arm, or something then i'm scared they will feel my port and get freaked out because no one at my academy knows i've had lap band surgery lol. Your so lucky to be able to train with the Gracies. I train at Gracie Barra all the way in Orlando Fl. I was never consistant with training at first before the band mainly because of my weight but now since i've lost some I train everyday. Keep me posted on how your doing!!

  15. Hey, I lost about 8 pounds in the first month but I gained it back because I only lost it due to the liquid stage for after surgery healing. I didn't start physical activite or getting fills until three months after surgery, then finally I started to see results but slowly. I work out twelve hours a week and the weight still doesn't come off as fast as you would think but it's still better then gaining.

  16. Hey, thanks! The hardest part for me to overcome was probably relizing that the weight isn't going to come off as easy as I thought it would. I'm still losing but just not as fast as I would like. But I can't complain, it's way better than gaining! I think everyone looses at their own pace.
