Hey, that's an advantage to WLS. At one half cup food per meal, three cans of refried Beans and a box of Protein Bars and I'm set for two weeks...add a dozen eggs and I'm good for another week!😁

Aloha
There's a huge thread dedicated to this (Intermittent Fasting) on the board.
But I'm just going to be honest with you, its probably the nuts/nut butters. I eat them to maintain my weight so I know first hand that they can easily cause gains because when I stop for a while I lose a few lbs. They need to be measured or there's a huge portion distortion.

I would love to add that it’s important to keep in mind that your stomach is healing right now. Even though you can’t see it, and on the surface you just have a few small cuts. But inside that major organ was sliced apart, the majority of it removed, and then stitched/stapled back together again. And now it’s expected to still function, when it’s tender and healing. But, like any wound, as it heals it will get less tender and it will be less of a battle to drink and eat.
Framing it this way in my mind really helped me early out when things were especially tough.

I'd rather not get banned this early on but my profile does explain my goal in detail.

Beaconkitty reacted to GreenTealael in How many years after surgery could you eat a plate of spaghetti without feeling nauseous?
What enjoying a full plate of spaghetti means now 😂

I can eat sushi no problem and Chinese food most of them - Not your battered pork but steak and noodles and even a small egg roll =- As for spaghetti the word plate is not possible but i eat a tiny bowl with sauce and a meat ball for my weekly carb intake -
It took me to about 4 months but everyone is different

Beaconkitty got a reaction from epicdreams2020 in Anyone have trouble eating?
Right now I am expanding the different foods I can eat one food at a time. I eat .25 to .5 cups at a time. Currently trying out raw veggies like tomatoes and cucumbers. What about Ricota cheese, cottage cheese, laughing cow wedges, hummus? Deli ham? chicken hot dogs? Meatballs? Fish? tuna salad, chicken salad? Try different things to see what you can eat.....For a while I did not feel like eating but now I do. Not everything tastes like it did before.

Beaconkitty got a reaction from FluffyChix in Messed up at New Years, paying the consequences
We are in a learning phase in the beginning, how to make good choices, what foods and how much are good. You can do this! Does your surgeon have a support group so you can get support from people other than your family?

Beaconkitty reacted to ypease in astronomical lab bill
Amazing! Wow, you would think that since they covered the cost of the surgery, they would pay for aftercare! My insurance doesn’t cover my wls, and my doctor is going to try to run my blood work through their lab. If they charge a fortune, I checked out Any Lab Now. They only charge $449.00 for basically the same tests.

I don’t know if this will help. Right over the board in Shreveport, LA Dr.Norwood may be able to help. He is at a center of excellence.
He helped my friend who went to Mexico and they pierced her intestines during WLS.
🤷♀️
