Welcome to the losers bench! It is a hard but well worth it journey.
Take a day at a time and do not let the stalls frustrate you, they are normal and a way for your body to catch up to what is going on.

Stomach growls at everything I drink lol sorta funny as a I type I feel small twinges of hunger I can drink more than these little medicine cups. Please help me I woke up feeling like did they even do the surgery if not I’m getting a cheeseburger 😝😝😂

Just keep sipping your Water. I'm 9 days out and still just eating because I have to. Lol day after surgery the smell of food made me want to puke.

I cannot lose weight which I'm told is likely because I have PCOS. I don't mean I can't stay on a diet, I mean I can eat very small amounts of food and not lose weight. Supposedly surgery will change hormones enough to allow weight loss, but I'm terrified that I will have surgery, eat next to nothing but still not lose weight.

my update...I had the surgery!!!! It has been painful but I feel good. I did have some chicken broth and 1 Jello. I have been getting up with minimal help and walking with a walker because I get dizzy. I think I go home today but I think I would benefit from staying one more night. Thank you for your support ❤️

I had a last hurrah when I probably shouldn't have but surgery went off without a problem the next day.
7:30pm the night before I had a personal sized flatbread pizza with bbq pulled pork & banana peppers plus a peach margarita. My surgery was 11am the next day.
When I was waiting to get rolled into surgery I overheard a guy getting prepped for his own surgery tell a nurse (after she asked him when he'd last eaten anything solid) "I cheated......A LOT" and the nurse said to him "oh that's okay people cheat on their pre-op diet all the time, you'll be fine".

I cheated several times during my pre-op diet but made sure the be super strict the last 4 days and my liver was perfect.

Not that I think cheating is good... but I stuck to my (more restrictive) pre op diet religiously, and my liver was still big. They had to use a bigger tool and I ended up with two more incisions, but they were able to do it. Luckily my surgeon believed me that I stuck to my diet. I was really disappointed about it.
