It’s been a little over 3 months, so here are some updated progress pics! Scar continues to fade, but it’s not like anyone sees it anyway! I love my flat tummy and someday will treat myself to a spray tan so I can really enjoy it! Lol!!

Time to resurrect this thread as I’m heading back in for Round 2 and 3!

First of all, I’m pleased to report that I’m still loving my results from my MMO!

Current pic plus closeup of my scar which is nearly invisible! I’m so pleased with the scar that I decided to go for it and get the arm lift and thigh lift done. Would rather have the scars over the saggy skin and I’m tired of wearing long sleeves and pants to cover up.

Before that though, I’ll be heading in for a facelift. Surgery is tomorrow. I’m so excited!

Have you tried GU or any of the other energy gels? I've used them for cycling, and they work well. I've also heard people make a simple PB&J, cut into small pieces and frozen the night before, and it thaws during the race or run, etc. Also try bananas, as they are usually offered on the race course. As I'm sure you already know, you don't want to try anything new on race day, so you want to get it figured out and practiced with ahead of time.

I did Protein Shakes and greek yogurt for breakfast for my first year. Boring, but yummy and satisfying!

My husband went on a camping/hiking/biking trip with his buddy. A week later, I picked up my husband from his camping trip, and told him I was going to have WLS. I was scared to tell him, but he was so supportive, and I knew I'd made the right decision. It's been a dream life ever since!!!
We still talk about the day I picked him up from his trip and announced my surgery! LOL!!

I've really been so busy I had to stop and look at the calendar to realize my surgery is in 2 days!
I'm already down 11lbs from the pre op diet.
I'm too excited!

I love getting 2-3 meals out of 1 restaurant meal! I'm a cheap date! LOL!!!!

for dinner: leftovers in a take out container!
a small slice of ribeye, teeny spoonfuls of spinach & mushrooms (drenched in butter omg) and a sad little piece of baked potato.
this was leftover from mr.'s dinner last night and he didn't want to take it home (it's not worth it, he said). well, i insisted and i got me a nice dinner tonight, HA!

Cut up some chicken breast, baby cucumbers, and avacodo on a lettuce boat. Only ate one. Eyes were bigger lol

Speedy recovery!

I’m so glad I’m not the only that looked at my knee fat with plans 😀

Surgery was yesterday, and it went great. My pain is minimal. Feels like i just had some dental work done, but the pain meds are really doing their job! I had a quick post-op visit this morning, where they removed my gauze and gave me a compression garment. I will wear the garment 24/7 for the next 2 weeks, After that, I will just wear it when I'm sleeping.
Not sure if I mentioned, but for the fat transfer, She used Lipo to take the fat from my inner knees. She said that knee fat is stubborn which makes it great to use for tat transfers. I also get the added bonus of getting a little jump start on my thigh lift,
I go back on Tuesday to get my sutures removed. Also, I'm allowed to take a shower tomorrow night! Woo hoo!!

Ok, so like I said, tomorrow is my facelift! I’m getting lower facelift with fat transfer to nasal folds and marionette lines and a lower bleph for under my eyes.

Taking these pics at the most unflattering angle so you can really see the loose skin that I want to fix!!

So to recap! Lol! Tomorrow is the fade and then I go back in August for arms and thighs. Super excited to be contingent my plastics journey!

Had my 3rd post op visit today, and had 1 drain removed (still have 2 drains left). She also removed and reapplied my boob tape. I'm done with my compression machine and compression tights. I feel more mobile already!
I even wore "real" clothes today. Leggings and a t-shirt, I'm fancy!!
I discovered my drain lanyard around my neck was causing neck pain, so now I carry my drain lanyard like it's a little purse...a gross purse full of bloody Fluid, but it's much more comfortable than around my neck.
I see the surgeon again next Monday, at which time I will likely have a 2nd drain removed. Fun stuff!

I would get the Medium. Order if from Amazon, and if it's too small, you can quicky exchange it. I would also recommend getting a garment that covers the thighs b/c you want it to be tight, and not dig in. I would think the ones that stop at the hips, would dig in and irritate the skin.
