I have been waiting for this surgery for my entire adult life but insurance would not pay till now. Finally I am just about to undergo laparoscopic VGS. Yay!

I'm hoping it doesn't get cancelled I have 4 days left 😬

The 6 month physician supervised diet hasn't gone that well but I have recently been trying to train myself to get used to mainly fluids so that I don't get sick afterward, I have also been focusing on increased protein. This 2 week low carb is nuts, i just hope my liver shrinks to the point they can operate!

I am looking forward to more energy, less pain, and longer life.
