Thanks for the info! Definitely going to look into this!

I’m 11 months post op. I’ve lost about 80 pounds since surgery. I currently weight 167-169, at 5’8. I have been going up and down a couple of pounds for the past month or so. No matter what I do I can’t get lower. I’m scared that this is it. Has anybody experienced this at this stage? Hoping it’s just a plateau and not the end of the loosing game for me.

Same thing with me. I spent weeks after surgery thinking about food and feeling sorry for myself thinking I could never eat “normal” again. It’s like a break up with food. I wish I would of had someone tell me it passes and things get better. For now, just take it day by day. Your though patterns will change. Just give yourself grace and time. ❤️

I’m having trouble trying to not snack during the day. Plus I’m not moving as much and just kinda laying everywhere. I notice when I make myself get up to do something. Like yard work or house work I feel better and the scale turns in my favor. It’s hard and this is not an ideal situation. All we can do is try our best. ❤️

I’m 6 month post op and my stomach sounds like a bear is trying to get out as we speak. It’s embarrassing sometimes in a quiet room.

I’m in cal and bored and trying to stop thinking about snacking all day. 😩

That sucks. Sorry about your cancellation. It will happen in time. 💜

Yes I’m 6 months post op and notice bruises that I don’t even know how I got. Happens a lot on my arms.

I just hit onederland a couple of weeks ago. Never ever thought I’d see the day! Great job!! 💪

My husband was against it (married 17 years). He would say things like “you can loose the weight yourself without this” and be discouraging. He didn’t even stay with me in the hospital the first night, my mom did. Bottom line.. I did this for ME! Be too busy with were your headed then who’s coming with you.

4 hours ago, Sandra Nuelken said:There is a stall at 3 weeks, 4 months and I imagine 6 months. The body just stops weightloss and readjusts. This site talks about the stalls and how to not lose your mind during them. Also, the greatest weight loss happens in the early months after surgery, then more slowly after that. I'm still at 500 - 600 calories each day. If I walk or don't it doesn't seem to affect my loss. The weight didn't go on in one year and it may take a bit of time to come off.
Thank you for this!! Just hit 4 months and stalling since Christmas and was freaking out!

This can’t be real life. 😂

Good luck to all having surgery tomorrow! I was so nervous too. Sleeved on September 10th. But I feel like a million bucks now. You all got this! ❤️

Yes! Agree with this 100%!

It’s great that you realize all this. It’s ok. You fell of the wagon. It happens to all of us sometimes. Start now not tomorrow and get right back at it. It will make you feel better on the inside as well.

You WILL feel better. Might not seem like it not, but as the weeks go by, you will.

I tried hard for the first week to just drink Water. Second week I just ate yogurt for Protein. I was so stressed about it and finally said forget it. I was still breathing and Alive and that’s all that mattered in the beginning. Lol. I just ate what worked for my tummy and stopped stressing so much early on. You’ll get your protein in due time.

Honestly I didn’t do any Protein Shakes as I didn’t like them. The first few weeks I was just in survival mode. I probably barely got any Protein daily. I just did whatever I could to get through the days.

Girlfriend I know exactly how your feeling. I’m now 8 weeks post op but felt the exact same way right after surgery. I was so sorry I got it and cried for almost 2 weeks straight. I still feel this way from time to time when nothing taste the same anymore and I get frustrated. But trust me, it gets better. Just hang in there and take it day by day. I know exactly how your feeling

Same for me.

Thank you! Looking up the nearest soma now!

Does anyone know a good store that does accurate bra fittings?
Is this it?

Yes, while I am happy with my results this far, I would still like to loose a little more. It’s a big mind game when you loose for so long and all of a sudden it Stops and goes up. I do have a lot of extra skin in my tummy and breasts. Planning on having that corrected when I’m cleared by my surgeon. I’m teetering on the BMI chart of Normal weight/and overweight. I’ve worked really hard to try to stick to a healthy diet to get this weight off, and just not ready to see the scale stop and head up.
