Thank you for replying Birdog 😊 Do you find the mask uncomfortable? (although you may have a different one to me .) I know I should be using it , but it doesn’t actually help me sleep any better , although maybe we don’t get the right quality of sleep without it ? I’m so annoyed with myself , and worried that they may stop my surgery on the 12th if they ask me if I’m using it . I have to get my act together and start using it again . Sorry for venting .

Hi Jennifer . I really hope you aren’t kept waiting too long . I know what you mean , I had been going and collecting information I was asked to get , and they never even asked me for it .Yes , it’s SO frustrating , and when you’re told one thing is happening and it doesn’t , and you don’t even hear anything from them. They asked me to make a special appointment with the surgeon to discuss when my surgery would be done, a 2 day performance for me to get there , and he told me November 2018, and I never heard anymore . I probably wouldn’t have done by now if the dietician I saw hadn’t queried it ! Stick with it Jennifer , it will be worth it in the end . I’ll definitely keep you posted. I know it may be different in the UK to the
U.S. but it’s good to be able to compare notes!

Thanks Ruby. That makes me feel a bit better . I think it’s the biggest fear I have with this surgery . Pain I can deal with, but vomiting - no 😖Hope things are going well for you now .

me too Lynda ! I hate it when people have to help me out of the car . Im also looking forward to getting off of a sofa without struggling , and being able to put my shoes and socks on without it being a major operation !

So sorry that happened to you Ruby. Is there a way we can avoid vomiting ? I have a real bad fear of it . It hasn’t happened to me for 50 years! So I’m really really worried about it . Was anyone else like this? or is it just me ? I’m having a by pass on 12th August .
