It is so very important too drink plenty of Water along with your Protein Shakes . It's essentially healthy for us after post op. You wouldn't want too go through feeling dehydration. It you need too journal your in take then do what is important to you. That my experience. Thank you for your time

Hi all. I had my surgery 4 months ago and a week later I got my period, and I’ve had it ever since. So nearly 4 months of bleeding. I’ve been to the Dr today and been referred to gynocology but was wondering if anyone has experienced similar?

I believe it's menopause. I bleed for a whole year, it was awful. And then finally after 53 yrs old one day it just stopped. Happiest day ever

Soooooo, I was 280 pounds last month. I went to get checked today and im now 260lbs. Thats crrrraaaaaazy to me..... 20 pounds in 1 month? Whoa, is that even healthy? You know what i did.... I swear all i did was Drink Water and eat fruit. I dont exercise and i dont eat a bunch of salad. I just Drink Water eat cherries and Ice ALLLL DAY. My surgeon said the more water i drink the More weight i loose. I found my new diet. Water, fruit, and Protein.

Good for you..I lost 24 lbs my first month with just water, Protein Shake, water and broth...anything possible.

I was told no carbonated drinks at all. It expands your body too eat more you wouldn't want that too happen

I don't know .I been researching this be reading and googling it. I think it's possible too gain it all has too do with calories..stick too drinking more Water even Protein Shake and don't eat in front of TV causes you too eat more. Walk more often that's very important for you

I think after surgery Salmon was my best choice as far as food goes. It helped me very much during my weight loss before and after

Yes sum what kind of need help. Depends on if you recovery quickly. For me the most important thing for me was keep movement, walking as soon as an hour after surgery, believe it makes a difference in your recovery. Everything will seem hard the first few hours especially sipping Water. Once your walking your body will feel so much better day by day first three days are sensitive. However you will not have any pain just tenderness ..

I am excited and nervous as the surgery day gets closer.
I started on liquids only today and surprisingly it has been ok.
My question to all that read this is after surgery will I need help at home and for how long. I need to make arrangements now.

I am glad I found this web site. Im post-opt three months. I lived in California most of my life. On July 1 st ,2019 moved too Yuma, Arizona. Im new too this state. I need my support group people. I am grateful for finding this app. Hello everyone congratulations on a new way of life, eating, etc..I am so grateful too have had this sleeve surgery. I have lost 82 lbs...still loosing.
