I don’t know if this will make sense to you but it worked for me.
I was not eating enough to gain weight on 600 calories a day, that is impossible. There were times I would step on the scale and the number would be a few pounds higher.
Logically I knew I had not gained weight. I changed my thinking and told myself, “I weigh more today for some unknown reason” I stopped thinking in terms of weight gain it was just fluctuations. I started weighing myself less frequently and only on mornings when I felt “lighter “. It really helped me and kept me sane.
    Best of luck to you!

3 pounds is probably either Water or lack of bowel movement. Don't fret over it. Just stick with the program.

A family member had WLS a month and a half ago. He as well as others (me included) stepped on the scale only to find a weight gain. Then when told not to step on the scale every day and weigh only weekly did he find his weight loss to return. In a nutshell, nothing to worry about and if weighing everyday STOP and weigh weekly.

I have not had one in months, but they were a suggestion made to me by my nutritionist if I did not feel like cooking. But be mindful about the sodium and car intake.

In the early days I would go to YouTube and type in what are you eating at 2 months or at 6 months out depending on where I was and get ideas that way. I got some great suggestions back then.

Now that I am in maintenance I do have spaghetti on occasion. Spaghetti squash is a great alternative if you are in weight loss phase.

I LOVE spiralized zucchini. It cooks up fast, is delicious, and functions the same as “real” Pasta.

I agree with the poster who suggested spiralized vegetables. Spiralize some zucchini (or buy some already spiralized) and saute it until it's al dente. Then eat it just like you would noodles.
OR just eat the meat and the sauce in a bowl.

At 6 weeks, fiber may not be the best option for you only because you're still healing.
Better options to get things moving again: Miralax, Milk of Magnesia, Dulcolax, Smooth Move Tea. Depending on the severity of your problem, you can also try glycerin suppositories or even enemas.
Remember to be drinking enough Water. The GI tract needs water to remove the wastes from your body.

After the longest freaking stall I've ever had (just over 2 weeks) it finally broke and I dropped a couple pounds, and as of this morning I have officially met my doctor's goal for me! I now weigh 164.4 (goal was 165) and am aiming for my personal goal of 150 to put me at a healthy BMI. If I get there, I will take aim at 135 for my vanity goal.
I'm becoming increasingly scared that I'll just stop losing now that I've met the doctor's goal, and I am trying to remind myself that by continuing to eat below my TDEE, and following my nutrition plan, I will continue to lose because that is science. But we all know emotions run high during this process, and sometimes my emotions get the better of me and I panic that I'm done losing before I want to be.
For now- I shall Celebrate with a delicious Powerade Zero and set my sights on 150! 😊
