So...I originally had a Lap Band placed in 2008 and while I did have great results, I did experience slippage multiple times.  It got so bad that in 2018 I was told that my esophagus was extremely dilated, had ulcerations, and my band was tightened around the wrong part of my stomach causing these issues.  I ended up having my band unfilled and removed completely, and have gained almost all of my weight back.  So now I am scheduled for Gastric Sleeve and nervous, but excited and ready to make it all the way to my goal weight again!
