  1. Hey thanks guys, I should get them in the mail soon and I can try out different stuff, then i can see what I like and maybe order some more. I will check around for better prices maybe if it's something i will continue ordering. The Cereal sounds good, because I don't have much time for Breakfast and I'm always tempted to stop by McDonald's:sneaky: And the other Protein stuff will keep me filled so i don't go for empty calorie stuff.

  2. I'm not sure about Dr. Powell, but I love my Fill Center USA fill specialist here in Florida. If you are paying I think you should let him know you want more of a fill, because its money out of your pocket everytime you go. I'm not sure if its a fill center policy or just my specialist, but with in 72 hours if i feel its too much or too little i can go back in free of charge to get it adjusted up or down.

  3. After speaking to a Fill Centers USA rep to schedule my next fill, she asked how I was doing and I told her that I was having some difficulties eating on my 25 min. lunch, and staying full. She reccomended some products from Bariatric Advantage. I ordered a few sample packes. I was just wondering if any one else had tried them before, and what they think about it. Here is what I ordered:

Adjustable Gastric Band Sample Kit - 7 Day

    VitaBand® chewable Multi-Vitamin

    Calcium Citrate Lozenges

    Protein Sampler Pack

    Bariatric Advantage Ready-to-Shake Meal Replacements

    Bariatric Advantage High-Protein Cereals

    nectar Protein powders

    Matrix 5.0 Protein powder

    Pro-Stat64 liquid Protein

    Proteinex Liquid Protein (Orange)

    ProCell Protein Powder (Tasteless)

Profect Sampler (Blue, Cool, Fresh, Mango)

2.7 fl. oz vial. 25g protein, 0g fat, 0g carbohydrates. Flavors: Blue Raspberry Swirl, Cool Melon Splash, Fresh Citrus berry and Grapefruit Mango.

  4. How is everything with Dr. Dietrick? I went to a seminar with him last year... I thought he seemed good, but I am still in the researching phase!

P.S. I am in Polk County too... Auburndale. I moved here 4 years ago from Pennsylvania, and it's alright!

I live in Winter Haven so we are really close!

  5. I am completely satisfied with fill centers usa. I also go to the one in St. Pete and she is GREAT! I have had port complications all along the way and had horrible fill experiences with my other doctor. She is professional, quick and the office staff is friendly.

  6. It sounds like you are doing a great job 70lbs is wonderful. There are always going to be people who don't understand and we will always have to deal with them. Whether its about our weight, or clothes, or whatever, some people are just ignorant about certain things. Do you know how many overweight medical professionals there are?! Do you know how many doctors smoke?! Those are things I really can't understand. At least we are making the effort. I would have told her...really?? I thought it was bad 70lbs ago! You go girl! You are doing great!

  7. Hello everyone! I haven't posted in this section before but since I'm 27 I thought it may be a good idea! I'm never sure who is what age so it's nice to find people closer to my age.

How is everyone doing with their weight loss? It's so hard being overweight in this age group. I have never worn a bikini in my entire life and the last time i looked decent in a one piece was like 8 years ago. So, since summer is coming up I am having bathing suit anxiety....:( I'm hoping for around 10-15lbs by June. I'm going to work REALLY hard.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

  8. I am seeing my fill specialist on spring break..in 2 weeks i think and I want her to go over with me all the band rules again and im taking my multi Vitamin with me to ask if its a good one, and I'm going to try to keep a food log for at least a week or so, so she can see what I'm eating.

And I'm going to ask her to help me step by step to go through some stuff to see what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong. Also I believe my insurance pays for a nutritionist, so I'm going to see about maybe finding a band friendly one. That may help me keep on track as far as that goes.

Also, I'm going to try and take part in the next months exercise challenge to keep me on track in that aspect. Lets keep at it together. I am flying back to Portugal in June for vacation and I need to get off at least 10-15 lbs (what I gained since I moved back to the states) or my husbands family is going to have some nasty things to say!:(

  9. Hey guys, it's been forever since I have been here. It's been a long road for me. But I really want to get back in the game. Is there going to be a challenge for next month? Will there be a new thread for the new challenge? I am a member at Curves and I really like it, so I really want to get motivated to go more often. I couldn't help but notice all the progress you guys have made. Congratulations to everyone!
