Finally awake enough... Dr said surgery couldn’t have been more perfect when he talked to my fiancé. I Haven’t seen him yet. Slept most of the day... lots of morphine PCA which is helpful. Just got up tonpee for the first time, wasn’t too awful. Because of my csections I had more scar tissue so he had to do a 6th incision. I had RNY. Keeping fluids down. Drank 2oz in the last hour.

First, If your story is real, and you are not a troll,
please get help. You are dealing with some deep seated mental health issues that need professional help.

Stay strong, stay committed and I am sure this will all smooth out. Time cures many problems , but like the typical American I too am not overendowed with patience. When I want SOMETHING, I want it NOW!

I completely understand, and it makes so much sense. Like you, I am aiming for success and want to be able to win this battle. Yes, the home health agency was my life saver. I had to call two to find the perfect one for me. Please let us know how the WLS seminar goes next week.
As for me next week I will do my last primary care physician visit pre-surgery (Monday) and my Pre-surgical WLS class at my hospital ( required by the hospital) on Tuesday. I was a bit dismayed at the 6 month waiting period in January but now that I am about to cross the line I will be happy to start (or continue) this life long journey a healthier me.

Thank you o much for posting this!!! So like you, I also want and will need the follow-up support that comes after surgery. My office does offer this (for a fee), but it is an investment that I am going to make for myself. I think it is under $300.
As far as the endoscopy - I was in the same boat as I had just moved to the city I am in. What I did was find a nursing/home health agency who does supportive services/transportation etc. I explained that I was having a procedure and needed a ride home after. I had to pay for two hours of the nurses time ($60) for her to drive me home. We were together for less than 30 minutes but it was the only way I could get my procedure completed. I took a uber to the location and she picked me up and signed me out. I arranged for the home health aid to be there when I finished and also let the doctor office staff know the dilemma I was in so they understood that I had a medical professional to be there for me once I was done. She was there on time (a beautiful person) who drove me home and even called to check on me after I was comfortable at home. Anyway - that is how I dealt with that similar problem.

Hello Everyone-- This is my story!!!! I was 398 lbs and had gastric bypass RNY on 11/30/2009. I lost 200lbs. I had a baby in March 2017 and gained weight with the pregnancy and have been struggling to return to my pre-pregnancy weight of 213.
My surgeon will reduce my pouch (stretched 3 times it's the surgical size) and reduce my stoma (also stretched). My surgery is on July 15th. I am doing a 3-week liquid diet to get ready.
