I am still on purees and I have a really tight restriction. So, I don't get much in. Breakfast: Coffee with caramel protein shake Lunch: 1/2 teaspoon chicken salad Dinner: 1 tsp pureed Lima beans with added Genpro. I am able to drink faster now. So, liquids are a breeze. -

That sounds delicious, Sandra. Unfortunately, my Doc doesn't allow tea (not even herbal) or coffee post-surgery for 6 months. I have tried to ask why, but he has NOT given me a clear answer.😟 -

I am having VSG on July 30th if I can lose 5lbs by the 29th. -
I don't know if it is good or bad that I am not required to do a more restrictive presurgery diet. I have to lose 5 pounds before the 29th and liquids only for the last day.
