Those meals look amazing. I can't do Avocado though I'm allergic. I'm going to email my NUT today and see what she says. I've been trying to get in 80-100g protein and maybe I should just back off the protein a little to get more veggies. I'm still in that sweet spot most days where I don't really get hungry so I forget to have a snack which is the perfect spot for some veggies. Today I'll have most of my protein just from two drinks. I have a Protein Shake for Breakfast, and I dropped 2 scoops of collagen Protein in my first flavored water of the day.

Thanks for the chaffle recipe. That is very different from the one I have and its a lot lower calories I'll have to try it. I love all your posts you really have a great handle on all of this and always provide lots of great information.

I think that's an unrealistic goal from your RD for now. But, you need to follow the plan set for you or get them to rework it to something more manageable? Mine did this for me cuz she knows I prefer a low carb life and that I love my veg and need the Fiber. She told me to drink up to 1 Protein Drink per day to get 25-30g of Protein in me. That way, I can have more veggies in my meals without stressing. Now that I'm 2 years out, I can easily get my 60g of protein in per day. My Vitamin levels were all beautiful at 2 years.

The first lunch listed was my Healthy tuna salad with veggie dippers. Here's the recipe. You can scroll down to see a picture of the lunch in that post.
Second lunch was a small side salad with an avocado egg toast chaffle (low carb). Here's my recipe for low carb high protein chaffles. And here's a picture of that meal.

But to add, salad and raw veggies to some extent are sliders for me. And I'm 2 years out.

Yup those are my net carbs. If I do any Pasta I do black bean pasta, its around 6 net carbs. I only have 1oz at a time. fruit is a killer for carbs. I had a banana the other day and killed my carbs . I stay away from added sugar as well. I did fine a low carb bread I will have 1 slice with an egg on Sunday. I have to watch the bread as it will make me foamy.
At this point I'm still losing. Slowly but losing and as long as the scale keeps going down I'm happy!

I wish I could get that many veggies in. Luckily I haven't found any that don't agree with me. I really need to step up my veggie game. I do eat a lot of broccoli which is my favorite. I'm just curious on your stuff from lunch yesterday. Are you having just a dab of yogurt? I'm guessing you're using it to make some kind of dip or dressing for the veggies?

My NUT wants me to try and get as close to 20g Protein at each meal. That doesn't leave a lot of room for veggies. I'm still relying on a Protein Shake most days as well. I use it for breakfast as its an easy grab and go.

That's me most days. I get over 1lb of veggies per day usually. I keep it to 50g total or about 30g net most days.
Here's what I've had so far and dinner will likely be cauliflower and broccoli roasted and maybe a small salad plus baked fish. Oh and I had an ounce of grape tomatoes with mid morning snack. I will probably have a bedtime snack of either a salad or veggies with yogurt Ranch.

    This was me yesterday:

Yep, these were my carb intake levels as well during weight loss phase. BUT I counted NET carbs for my totals (All carbs minus dietary fibre minus sugar alcohols). Are you numbers total or NET?
I stayed away from added sugar, bread, rice, Pasta, potatoes, Beans, root vegetables and fruit (except the occasional berry). Of course there were a few days in there when I would have a drink or a bite of dessert but these were very, very rare occasions. I could probably count on one hand how many times I indulged in carbs during weight loss phase.

I had RNY and had very little pain. It was mostly the incision soreness which is to be expected. If I ate or drank to quickly that would hurt. I think the biggest thing I noticed was it seemed like initially I could feel the liquid moving from my stomach to my intestines. I'm guessing this was more so from all the inflammation. I'm 3.5mos out and don't notice it now.

I'm 5 months post op and as of today, I only have 16lbs left until my goal! I see my surgeon for my 6 month post op visit in 4 weeks, fingers crossed I can be near, or at, goal when I see him again! It's so crazy going from a 2XL or 3XL to a large or medium top and large bottoms. I thoroughly enjoy shopping now and often go to stores just to try stuff on. I went to put on one of my favorite shirts yesterday that I haven't worn in about a month and it looked like a sack of potatoes on me. I've already had to resize my wedding rings and will probably have to do it one more time here soon, they're already starting to get loose again. I remember going shopping before hoping that I could find something in the largest size that fit, now I go to stores picking one thing in a couple sizes because I don't know which will fit better.

I can tolerate most foods just fine, very few issues with dumping, some days I eat more than others. About the only foods I have guaranteed issues with is broccoli, cauliflower, and any amount of pork products, even just a half teaspoon of bacon bits scattered on low carb pizza I made at home screwed me up.
I did have a minor surgery last week and had to get basic blood work (CBC) done for that and it looked identical to my pre-op CBC, can't wait to see what the rest look like in a couple weeks. I'm so happy I did the surgery, I feel amazing! I have been running as often as possible, although I'm benched for another week right now, and hit a sub 40 5K. I remember back when it would take me over an hour to walk/run a 5k. I could never run more than 45 seconds at a time, and now I'm running for 4-5 minute chunks.

Those charts are very generic and don't take into account the individuals body type. When I talked to my surgeon about what he thought a healthy weight for me would be he said 130 - 135. I'm 5'1 so if you look at the charts that would put me in the low 100's. When I was a teenager I weighed 115. If I was that weight now I would look way too skinny. My advice to you is get to a healthy weight you feel good at and makes you happy.

Low Carb Pizza: Makes 1-4 servings; serving size is 1/4 pizza

Nuke a tortilla on a paper towel in 20 second bursts. Flip it over and nuke and dry. Usually takes 3-4 bursts. Don't let it brown, just dry out.

Sprinkle with use 1-2 servings of mozz shreds. serving size =1/4c of cheese.

Add your fave toppings to the crispy shell.
Bake on bare rack with aluminum foil underneath on the next rack until cheese is melty. 350* for about 10-12 minutes.

Remove and dot with your favorite low cal, low carb sauce.

Sprinkle with parmesan and red pepper flakes and enjoy!
Here's the nutritional information for an entire pizza. I usually eat 1/4 of one with salad.

Frozen Steamer Bag Vegetables. (11-12oz package)
These represent a great bargain. Most of us will only have 1/4c or so of veggies in the early days and they must be well-cooked. HEB has a special this week for 2 for $3 on Green Giant Steamer Bag Veggies. Just nuke and eat! They have a big variety too!
TIP: Shop your weekly sales circular at your stores. They always have great specials on no to low cook Entrees and veggies each week!!

I'm sorry your husband isn't being supportive. This is your journey though and if it's what you truly want then you need to be true to yourself and go for it.
I was one of the lucky ones. I told my husband I wanted to look into it before I even went to the first seminar. He has been supportive the whole way and has been great since the surgery. He's constantly encouraging me and praising me for staying on track and sticking with the program. He has told me right from the beginning that he loved me just the way I was and he will love me just the same no matter how much I lose.
I wish everyone had a super supportive partner!!

I do very lean chicken, ground turkey or fish. I will try some super lean ground beef on occasion but I'm not a huge fan of red meat. I'm guessing the meats your eating are too fatty. Try something leaner.

Keep following the plan. You're doing great!

Hang tight you all some of us like juice. I do drink juice and try to get the sugar free or very low sugar versions. I also went from a 8oz glass to just a few oz.
Doing your own juicing also helps - Then you know exactly what you are getting - Adding Vodka is also not allowed, but you have to get caught
