Hi Nana_kat, I am Beth, my grandkids also call me Nana, I was wondering if you have any regrets of doing the sleeve surgery? I am just starting the process of going to the appointments to prepare. I have not been to the first appt yet. I have spoken to one other person that went through this but she was younger. How old were you when you had the sleeve and did you have any complications?

Hi! Nice to meet another Nana! I had my surgery in Dec 2016 and have not regretted a moment of it. Prior to my sleeve, I had the lap band and hated every moment of it. I haven't had any issues with gerd, dumping or vitamin deficiency, either. Just make sure you follow all your surgeon and dietitian's instructions and you'll be fine. Please feel free to ask any questions you think of in the future.

I am so glad to hear your story. I am 62 250lbs and 5'2" and just starting this process and am leary about it. Looking forward to getting healthy and getting off my HBP, diabetic meds and sleep apnea machine. How is the sagging skin?
