I am trying to do more research on the procedure but I keep finding it called Loop Duodenal Switch or Duodenal Switch and was wondering if they are different procedures or the same one. Looking for a surgeon around NY (upstate)

I am wanting to get weight loss surgery but I wouldn't even know where to begin looking for a good surgeon. I'm worried and nervous about who to trust and am wondering if anyone can recommend me any in NY or around Albany NY. Also, did anyone else travel a good distance for their surgery?
