    May 2019 Surgeries 🎉

Hello lyladyp! I just had my surgery yesterday and, I’m not gonna lie, the first 9 hours after waking up were so painful and uncomfortable. However, it gets so much easier after that. I am feeling amazing today! I am positive that all will go well for you! Best of luck! I will pray for you! 😊 Hello, I did it and am now home recovering. I agree the first day was absolutely uncomfortable and I felt as if the nurses were trying to hold out on giving me pain medication! They were okay giving me blood thinner, medicine for nausea, but pain medicine was an afterthought. Otherwise, everything else went fine. I thought I was going to have to stay another night due to low magnesium but was given an IV and the okay to go home. I was not expecting to feel this uncomfortable, but I am happy that I took off 2 weeks from work because I was not sure that I would need it. I now realize that everything related to this surgery (from beginning to the end) is a very slow process and you cannot rush anything. Thanks for your positive words and best wishes to you as you progress!👍🏽 🙂

    Day 2 post op

I am sorry to hear about your experience. I know it may not make difference but the after I left I received an automated call from the hospital to complete a survey about my stay. If you get something like this you can relay all f your positive and negative feedback. You may also want to contact the hospital.

    Surgery release question

I just had surgery on the 14th and they would not release me until someone was there to pick me up. I can honestly say that you are not going to want to be alone because the recovery pain is real, so driving is out of the question. I agree that using a rideshare is your best option if you do not want everyone to know.
