Thank you Vee. I had to step away from this thread (and the site) for a solid day because wtf. I guess I know better than to post now. I'm the only one that knows my body & what it's feeling ya know? I'm at 500 calories or less a day. I'm drinking Water non-stop and I'm real happy for everyone that has zero hunger but 50 calories of Soup wasn't doing much for me.

I’m a year post surgery & this idea just occurred to me. I was feeling like my Protein Bars were piling up because at this stage I’m not eating them as often & there’s so many times I want just a couple bites. Finally it occurred to me to chop a few up into 12 cubes & dump them together into a stay fresh container. If I grab 3 pieces that’s 5G of Protein & about 45 calories.

Thanks for starting this thread. I blame myself a little bit, even though my eating was under control with portion sizes, I could have done more exercise and not gone overboard through the holidays. But I'm confident that the surgery was a good decision and that it's not too late for me to work the program, so I've recommitted to eating right (lowering my calories by 200/day) and get more exercise and so far this year it's going great.
But you're right, while I'm really happy for the successes of people who seem to lose 100 pounds overnight, I am also jealous/frustrated by it when it doesn't happen for me too.
To thanks for creating a place for us to vent.

So everyone hears about the folks that are lucky enough to lose quickly and we see them lose 100lbs in 5 months but for many of us we lose slowly and feel like CRAP about it. This should be a place for us to talk about our frustrations and get advice or encouragement. Maybe you have found a way to speed up your weight loss through trial and error and that might help someone too. I know I work my ass off and I still lose slowly... and then every once in a blue moon ill lose quickly (for me anyway) but I can eat consistently in the mid 600's, Protein around 90, Water over 80oz and i workout hard at least an hour 6 days a week and i can lose - NOTHING. ZILCH. NADA and its upsetting as heck and makes me feel like complete failure. Before surgery when i did IF/ OMAD I lost a bunch of weight, way faster than I am now, barely exercised so I definitely have moments where i am like- Why did I even do this? Anyway, we all need to sound off at times or get encouragement or great advice and this is a safe place for you to do that and to know you are NOT alone.

Holy crap, just hit 199.4 pounds! It took me 7 months & 8 days to lose 65 pounds & dip below 200 for the first time in... idk two decades? I'm currently twirling around in circles unsure what to do with myself.

Sandra, I didn’t expect to lose it all in one month. But I thought it would be better than 10lbs.
I drink a clear Protein and a chocolate one every day. Then Water and a small 200 calorie meal.
I wish for a 30 pound weight loss in a month. I will make this work but I am still wishing it was faster.

I only told about 4 people, mostly because I didn't want to be stared at during the weight loss phase. I'm not in the least embarrassed about this choice, but weight loss is slow & I didn't want to have people looking & judging my pace I guess? Everyone is different. You can tell as many or as few people as you like!

I am so glad it's over! Now, I don't have to think about backing out. My toughest decision today was deciding between grape or watermelon Liquacel!
