I am just like you!! I had no hunger for the longest time and even now I only have the tiniest bit. I forced myself to eat after a while because I was getting shaky but stuck to about 4 tablespoons. Even now if I have a little more than that I don't get a tight feeling. Once or twice I accidentally ate too much when I didn't measure something and I felt nauseated, but still no tightness. So you're not alone.

You're welcome. It's been almost 2 months and I'm still having trouble reaching my Protein and fluid goals. Dont be to hard on yourself. Good luck and God bless.

I had my gastric bypass surgery on March 22, 2019. I keep hearing people talk about restriction. I just advanced to very thin/pureed foods yesterday and I assumed that after about 3 Tbsp. It would feel tight or uncomfortable like everyone else does but I don't notice that going on with me. I stop eating anyway because that seems to be the stopping point for everyone else. I am not hungry but I just don't know why I can't feel anything. What the heck is wrong with me????

Until you get to soft foods, the liquids and thin purees just slide right through your pouch. Once you get to the soft foods, they have enough body to stay in your pouch for a while. Don't worry, this is normal.

Your surgeons should tell you what they want, but the recommendations generally fall into the 60-80 g range for women and 80-100 g range for men.
