Im still the same person I was 100lbs ago. I want to eat the same foods I just hope the sleeve will keep the Portion Control in check which it has.

Typing to you guys from the hospital. Had my surgery about 12 hours ago. I haven’t looked at my incisions but I’m told there are 6 and look good. I’m drinking Water And broth about t 4-6 oz/ hour. That does not make me full wondering if this is normal? I also barely feel pain. I didn’t have any gas issues at all.... all is good and II plan to go home tomorrow. Appreciate everyone who read and responded and those who IM-ed me. I guess I’lll go over to the post op thread, lol.

Now that I've had both ... No difference detected in capacity or ability to keep up with fluids/vitamins/food
But if you really have food addiction, poor long term habits, etc IMHO choose the most powerful surgery you can otherwise you may end up where you started in a few years

according to my research the bypass has far more issues then the sleeve like perforations due to ulcers dumping syndrome ..also the bypass has more risk of Vitamin deficiency then with the sleeve.

Bypass results are better and longer

Hello everyone, it's been a while since I've been on here. The last time I was here was sometime in April, I was almost 4 months postOp and about 6 or 7 weeks pregnant. Well for those who wonder if it's possible to go through the whole pregnancy while still trying to loose weight, the answer is YES! I am currently 33 weeks pregnant and my baby is doing extremely well. As for my weight, I'm pretty much still at my goal weight, plus or minus a pound here and there. But I haven't gained weight at all. Surprise, right? I am too. My baby now weighs just over 4lbs and I'm nesting like crazy, busy preparing nursery and awaiting his arrival. Feel free to ask any questions related to being pregnant and going through weight loss, and I'll do my best to answer. Oh and thank you to all of those who supported and encouraged me back in March/April, I really appreciate you all

I mix Isopure flavors with propel in 20 ounce recycled Water bottles to get in my daily Protein. Love my weight loss results (106 off with 23 pounds to go...) but really don't enjoy eating that much especially, meat or fish. Exploring vegan cookbooks, recipes and other sources of protein for sustenance long term.
Wish we could get our group sharing again.
