I love asking for a list if stuff to be excited to do. Also, the "training" for chewing. I think I just Hoover food in. That's going to have to change! -

I've been prescribed Qysimia for my 6 month pre-op weight management. I am finished with that and have been approved through insurance. Now I am just waiting for my surgery date. I don't know if I should keep taking the meds or not. I feel like it will help with the pre-op diet because I am not hungry at all while taking them. My surgeon is aware of the meds but hasn't mentioned. -

Hi! I'm new here. I just received insurance approval and was stunned. I was told 1 month at the very least is what it would take to receive approval. It's been 1 week. I was feeling wishy-washy about the surgery. Now I'm feeling good. A little scared. A little excited. Im in Michigan. How long from approval time till you actually had surgery?

Thanks for the responses. I am nervous about the surgery and am a little worried I am going to chicken out. I've been working towards this for almost a year, so it's not a decision I'm taking lightly. I think that getting the approval just made it all more real.
