    5 days post op!

5 days post op of Bypass. Feeling good, no pain just tired. Drinking water 42-48 oz and protein 60 g. Still on liquids but soup menu has increased. Have noticed that jello has lost its appeal but popsicles (sugar free) I am still loving. From 400lbs (January 2019)to 319lbs currently. Thanks to my family and friends and these post and support groups.

Beginning day 6 of my pre op Liquid meals, no longer suffering from hunger pains. Never really paid attention to how many food commercials there are! Have to keep switching channels to avoid them! Lol Surgery is July 12th for gastric bypass, so it’s getting close. Reading all the post and encouragement and information is really helpful. Thank you all! Any Delaware folks here? Well enjoy your 4th festivities!!

    July 12th!!!
  11. Doing my two week pre op Liquid meals and I must admit that after two days, it’s still tuff! Lol You soon learn that not wanting to eat and being REQUIRED not to eat can play with your mind. You start noticing that every other commercial is showing food!! Lmao! You really have to have a strong constitution and be committed to becoming a healthier you. All I know is that on July 12th 2019, I’m having my Surgery! (Gastric Bypass). For those struggling like me on the pre op liquids, take it one day at a time and believe you can get through it!

    Switching Surgeons

I too went through this with the no response. I kept calling, went to practice on three different occasions. Finally sat in practice until I was able to meet my Coordinator, two months AFTER I completed required classes, doctor visits. Sometimes you have to step outside your comfort zone, especially if it’s something you really want. Good Luck!
