I find I can drink/tolerate more when it’s something flavored like Vitamin water zero vs plain water. My hubby says it’s all in my head. Haha. But it seriously physically feels different when I do! 🤣On 06/17/2019 at 12:52, fizz_gonza said:
Headed to Spain on July 1st. Really wanted to be under 200 by then.... weighed in at 211 this morning
I know a lot can happen in two weeks but that seems lofty. Just really didn't want to be the American beached whale in the Mediterranean. lol
Still struggle with food too...which is going to be interesting while there...since they eat constantly. It all feels so slow (especially the weight loss) I've been working out a lot- probably need to up my Water intake. Any tips on not hurting/wanting to puke when drinking more Water?

I weighed in at 204 today! 67 lbs down! My daughter is getting married in Vancouver, BC on 7/13 and my goal is to be under 200 by then. 🙏🏼 I’m actually not going to absolutely hate dress shopping for once in a very long time! 🙌🏼

Any ladies out there have success with building muscle/toning arms? Looking for the best exercises to do to try to get rid of my batwings. Or at least make them less noticeable. Before and after pics would be appreciated as well! Show your progress off! Thanks!

Welcome! How is it going for you?
Hi Neely, doing well. Looks like you are doing awesome! Congrats!
I am stalled right now which has me concerned even though I know its all part of the process. Still working on getting my brain to get on the same page with my pouch
My....Reeboks...just arrived on Monday! 😆 Super excited not to have to stomach the nauseating pills or powder. Enjoyed reading your comments, it made me pull the trigger on my order. Looking forward to seeing my lab results! On 12/03/2018 at 09:46, Matt Z said:
Update as promised. My 9 month labs are in. And everything (and I mean *EVERYTHING) is within normal ranges.
To recap
I'm using the Multivitamin, B12 and D3+Calcium Patches from PatchMD (Concerned though because now BariatricPal is changing to a new manufacturer for Patches and the agent I talked to didn't seem to concerned that I didn't want to change to a new product with no reason, ESP given that this new company is brand new.)
I also take 1 sublingual B12 a week, 1 D2 a week. I take Biotin, pantoprazole and Fiber daily as well.

March 5 Here. Late to the game.
Hey! Seeing this a little late, but Dr. Bagshahi (Bagshahi Bariatric in Fort Worth) is amazing!! He specializes in complicated revisions and also does the duodenal switch. He actually does the DS in one surgery rather than two separate surgeries like some do, if possible. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and did his surgical internship at the Mayo Clinic. He did my sleeve in March and my husband’s last week! Very thorough. Love him!
You are doing fantastic! You look amazing!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 I didn’t lose anything the past few days and then this morning, poof, 2 lbs. lol.On 05/06/2019 at 20:51, Beautiful3 said:
I’m so sorry, I know it’s discouraging but I’ve read many posts just like yours. One lady stalled for 2 months and then all of the sudden the weight started coming off again. It is true that everyone’s body is different. Have you had a follow up with your nutritionist? I’ve also read many that said they had to find ways to intake MORE calories before they started to lose again. Your body may be in starvation mode since you can barely eat, and it’s storing whatever it can. A couple of people said they were not losing at 800 cals a day and then increased to 1000-1100 and started losing again. Hang in there!! You already did the hardest part (making the decision and going through with the surgery) and are obviously willing to put in the “work” now. Talk to someone experienced and I bet they can help you. I’m pulling for you!! Also, my stated loss includes my 8 day pre-op so it’s not just since the surgery. I think I lost 12 during the pre-op diet. 👍🏼05/06/2019 02:32 PM, fizz_gonza said:
I am so frustrated. I've been stuck at the same weight (or like 3lbs) for over a month! I see people who were sleeved around the same time as me, who had starting weights around what mine was (or slightly higher like the lady directly above me) and now weigh less than I do (again the post directly above me). I don't know what to do! I can barely eat, I work out with a trainer twice a week and do some cardio on my off days. I'm feeling so down. I really wanted to lose more before summer. I can't believe I stalled for so long so early. This is really discouraging.
I ordered some from PatchMD! They should arrive today. I’m ready! Haha That’s my least favorite part too!On 05/04/2019 at 21:59, DuchessDeviance said:
I just saw that they have Multivitamin Patches in the Bariatric Pal Store. Has anyone tried these yet? Taking my supplements is my least favorite part of my day.
What is everyone eating these days? I’m officially 8 weeks out and honestly, I don’t eat much at all. Lol I’m not complaining because I’m losing (53 lbs since I started the pre-op diet!) 🙌🏼🙌🏼 But I just wondered if others were able to eat more. I eat about four bites of something and I’m done. I can only do my Protein, I can’t imagine having any room for veggies. Lol is this normal? Haha Hope everyone is well!!
How big are the capsules? I may want to try this! My BariLife pills were HUGE and taking 3 twice a day was impossible. For me, at least. LolOn 05/02/2019 at 18:21, MassMan said:
Celebrate has a new capsule Multivitamin that is a one a day dose. I really like it as the Celebrate chewables were starting to get old.
I will look into that one! Thanks!
6 weeks from sleeve and 45 lbs down. But that includes my week of pre op diet so technically 7 weeks.
I wish I had thought about those wraps! I only had one incision that really hurt longer than a couple of weeks though, and mainly when I bent down. But everyone does heal differently AND it can also have to do with how large your incisions are and how much your surgeon had to do “in there”. I was surprised at how small some of mine were! I hope you get some relief soon, it’s certainly a process. But there is light (and you will be lighter!!) at the end of the tunnel! 🤗

You are doing great, Fizz! 🔥 I’ve slowed and stalled off and on but made it into onederland as well! I’m at 192currently, so 80 lbs down!! I’m leaving for a cruise on 9/7 and wanted to be 180, but like you, that seems like a steep goal this far along. Lol Definitely not losing at the pace I was. BUT I’m also not exercising, other than walking my dog. Maybe if we both kick it up a notch we will surprise ourselves? I’m game! I bet Spain was fantastic! It’s in my bucket list for sure. Where did you guys go?
